Changes

Goldenpaw was changing. Not on the inside on the outside. Her normally golden pelt was changing redish brown. She was confused. Her tail was changing as well. She was almost pure redish brown except for a small gold spot on her forehead.

_{Badgerpaw's tiny eyes glance over the clearing.His white fur with black stripes was coverd with he sent of herbs from the medicine cat's den.He was staring at the she-cat full of admire and happyness.He had a crush on the she-cat, but he knew he would never have a mate sence he looked so much like a badger.
Badgerpaw took a deep breath and walked over to GOldenpaw,"Good morning!" he meowed full of confidence.}

Goldenpaw was startled and she thought that he was a badger but when she reliezed he was a cat she was not startled at all. "Hello Badgerpaw" she said "How are you?" She was aware of his admiring gaze and as always in the presense of males she felt herself blush. She also knew that a cat who looked so much like a badger would not probably mate.

Badgerpaw nodded, "I am doing well!" he mrrowed happly.Badgerpaw glanced, he had herd a twig snap not to long ago and was very worryed about it,"Did you hear that?"

"Yes" she replied worry also making her frown and her eyes filled with it. She ran over to Badgerpaw and stood so close their fur mingled. "What is it Badgerpaw?" she asked.

Badgerpaw bent down slowly, pressing his belly agents the cold ground."I-I-I don't know" he mrrowed as he glanced around.Badgerpaw was very territoial (Sp?) and he wouldn't let what every was out there around HIS crush and HIS territoy,"Who is there!!"

[glow=white,2,300]"Well,Well,Well, What do we have here" said a dingling voice that sounded more like a dog's growl.Shard sliterd into the clearing like a snake with legs, dancing around objects that stood in her way."I havn't seen you in a while goldylocks!"[/glow]

"Shard" she hissed. "What are you doing here? I thought that you would leave me alone when I left you and Meer in the Loner Terra. Leave now or fight me and how did you reconize me I don't even look the same?" she meowed to Shard her eyes filled with anger.

[Badgersoul]

Badgerpaw was confused, how did Goldenpaw know his loner.Still, Badgerpaw felt his fur brisle and his hanches rase.He had to unshelth his claws and perise them into the dirt to keep himself calm.

[glow=white,2,300]Shard laughed,"I sented you, remeber I am blind" she said, making sure to say blind slowly as if she was talking to a kit.[/color][/glow]

"You can still see I know that don't try to fool me Shard. Leave now why do you always ruin everything. You ruined my chance with my sister. Now you are ruining something different. Go away" she hissed at Shard. Then she turned to Badgerpaw. "It's ok she is blind and I have fought her before she is slightly slow when she can't see. I have beaten her before and she still isn't full healed" she meowed gently to Badgerpaw. "But don't relaxe completly she is still dangerous."

Badgerpaw nodded, his fighting skills wern't as good as the other apprintices so he usually fought with his is size,"Got it" he murmmerd.

[glow=white,2,300]Shard laughed again,"poor Goldenpaw! is my presence hurting your feelings" she teased,"Get used to it!"[/color][/glow]

"That's it" she yowled leaping at Shard attempting to scrach her face.

[Badgersoul]

[glow=white,2,300]Shard quickly dodged out of the way and slipped out of reach for the next attack."Looks like someone is out of practise!" she meowed and slughed.[/glow]

Badgerpaw was not about to let SHard get away with something like that, he quickly threw himself at Shard with full forse, but shard dodged that to and conterd it by clawing Badger into a tree.Badger hit the tree hard and almost fell uncontion, but his sheer power to protect his crush keep him awake.

While Shard was distracted Goldenpaw stood up and silently crept behind Shard. Then she waited for a moment. Then she leapt on Shard's back. Then she attempted to bite her neck.

[glow=white,2,300]Shard was surprised at Goldenpaw's attack.Luckly Shard turned and Goldenpaw nit her sholder.Shard hissed and was about to claw Goldenpaw off but the cat that smelt like herbs quickly head buted her down.[/glow]

Badger smiled down at Shard who he had just knocked to the ground,He then clawed a her belly.Shard rooled away then retreated to the trees.

"Oh thank you Badgerpaw I thought I was dead" she whispered. She walked over to him and licked his ear and felt his fur mingle with hers.

Badgerpaw felt himslef blush under his pelt,he quickly nodded before looking at the sky.

was it right for him to love a cat?

Badgerpaw glanced at Goldenpaw and smiled,"I only did what anyother cat would have done"

"No you did so much more Badgerpaw so much more" she murmered. She was crushing fully now she was positive she loved this cat more then she had ever loved any cat. Even her sister. She felt her face burn and she pressed closer to him.

Badgerpaw gave a small nod then quickly turned away, he couldn't fall in love he just coldn't."So you mind me asking how you first met shard?" he asked hoping to change th subject.

"Yes. I was having a bad day so I decided to stalk off and yell at the world unfortunatly Shard found me I was um kidnapped but I escaped. I later saw her again when I met my sister Angelheart. When I saw her today I was terrified and when she tried to kill me it was terrible" she said. She was a little hurt when Badgerpaw turned away. He doesn't like you he can't love you he is a med. app. she thought in her head.

Badgerpaw nodded unconfertably,"I am sorry, I sould of been with you before you got yourself Kidnapped" meowed Badgerpaw saddly as he touched Goldenpaw's sholder with the tip of his tail.Badgerpaw couldn't help but love Goldenpaw.She was beautiful,smart,kind,gental, everything he respected in a she-cat, but his duitys was to his clan.

"You want to help me find cat-nip, we are running low on it.Plus it would help in case Green cough breaks out!"

"Sure let's go" she yowled joyously.

Badgerpaw smiled at Goldenpaw ,"Ok, there is a bunch in Kittypet territory,!" he exclaimed then ran off...
