On her own alone(Steps Soft's Family and loners)

A small grey she cat walked silently through the white forest. The bitter wind made her shiver but she walked on. Snow blew back into her face turning her pelt white. She knew she shouldn't be alone but she had to think. She was thinking about her father. Her father had had a split personality and her mother had left him after having her and her siblings. She saw a huge snowdrift and climbed on top of it. The sight took her breath away. Icicles dangled of of snow covered trees. It was beautiful the snow was sparkling in the dim sunlight. She smiled. "I wish Niche, Turtle, and Fragment could see this" she murmered. A snowflake fell on her nose. She felt it melt and felt the icy coldness of the water drip of the tip of her nose.

_{Two winter blue eyes glanced around the beautiful clearing.Snow drifted down and icicles dangled everywere.The thing about the snow was that in a few day it would melt and the beautifulness would be melted away.The blue eyes blinked a few times the disappeared in the snow,Suddenly the blue eyes opened to another sound,"Tails!! Were are you-Wow isn't that pretty"}

[glow=pink,2,300]Fragment was trotting around looking for Tails, Tails and her were best of friends and for some reason Tails had gone missing,"Hey Softie!!" Purred Fragment before licking her sister's ear,"Have you seen Tails-wait do you even know tails?"[/glow]

Niche was laying down in thesnow, anger and resentment on his hostile face. Sometimes, and he himself knew it, he could be an ambivalent analytical tom, while when he was in the mood he was in now, every muscle in his body tensed, and his tendons poked out. No matter how long it was, they remained stiff, rigid. Niche was feeling sadistic, urges to attack on him, but his mind told him not to.

"Oh hi Fragment and no I don't think I know Tails. I am glad you are here though" meowed Steps Soft. She scented Niche but was in no mood to argue with her brother.

The sound of his siblings talking seemed to ease Niche as he got up ina quick lightening fast graceful movements. His one eye wandered aimlessly, looking for anything to torture. His muscles moved achingly, htey were still tensed, as if struggling not to hurt aanyone or anything.

Splinter walked swiftly through the clearing. He scented three of his beautiful kits. He wanted to see them especially Fragment and Niche. He walked toward them.

Steps Soft scented Splinter first. "Father Alert" she hissed to Niche and Fragment.

Niche stiffened agai, even more so than before. His pelt, s much like his mother's, prickled in an array of spikes. His stance was still, emotionless, a picturesque, all down to his eye, it was just as dark and soulless, his ears, flat upon his head, his breathing, it ddn't seem as if he was. Niche made a show of bcoming still as possible. A statue...

Fragment felt her own pelt tingle with fear,She quickly turned around and luckly noticed the two blue eyes,"There you are tails!" meowed Fragment forgeting intirly (Sp?) about Splinter.

Tails sloqly crawled out of her hidding place, Tails oddly looked exactly like her mother,Shard, mentore Skull.She said not a word but greeted her friend with a friendly nod.

Splinter spotted his kits. "Hello Fragment, Niche, and Steps Soft" he purred.

Steps Soft hissed at her father. To her sister and brother "When I flick my tail we attack him" she hissed. She hoped they would do as she said. She hated her father. She nodded at Tails.

[Meerful]

Niche simply ignred his father as if he didn't exist. He turned to his sister, his eye curiously dead. "Attack what?" He hissed, stressing the 'what'.

"That" hissed Steps Soft pointing at her father. "Mom said he was mean we should get rid of him. After all he is a clanner" Steps Soft said the last word with disgust as if she thought there was nothing worse in the world. She wanted to attack something feel her claws dig into flesh. Not just prey flesh but cat flesh.

[Meerful]

Niche turned to his sister, a look of accusing on his face at her. "I remember a time when you wanted a clanner to be your mom, and you didn't wantn our real mom. You wanted nothing more than to be with your precious Drizzlekit" He spat at his sister, a scowl and a smirk of sick enjoyment on his evil sadistic face. He may look like his mom, but he was much much more worse, his mind even more negatively corrupted.

Ignoring her brother Steps Soft turned toward her father. She stared at him with an evil glint in her eyes. She may have Splinter's good blood but now she was Meer's daughter and Meer's alone.

_{Tails hid behind Fragment quickly, Tails hated fighting she sall no use in it.Tails Wite pelt shimmerd like snow ans her sappire eyes glared at the tom cat in amazment and fear,"F-F-Fragment who is that?" she squeaked in her smal shy voice.}

[glow=pink,2,300]Fragment flicked her tail towerd Tails then got ready in a battle position,"Spft Step, I really don't know how to fight, what are we going to do if he attacks first" whispers Fragment with worry in her voice.[/glow]

"Him that weak clanner why would he attack us. Ok are you ready" she meowed. She didn't really care weather Fragment was ready she was and Splinter was going down. She flicked her tail then attacked Splinter. Sharp dagger like claws hit him square in the chest.

Splinter wasn't prepared for the attack and when his daughter hit him he fell back.

[glow=pink,2,300]Fragment felt a wave of guilt hit her as she watched her father fall to the ground,"S-Soft Step!! Arn't we being to hard" she cryed out, trying to keep out how hurt she was about her father betraying them.Then a idea hit her, was he betraying them or were they betraying him?[/glow]

_{Tails lashed her tail so that it sounded like a whip then ran after Fragment again.}

Steps Soft unsteathed a claw and prepared to slash her fathers face. Suddenly he kicked her off of him. She flew into a tree and lay there unconsious. Splinter picked up his daughter and carried her into a safe spot then left her. "Fragment come with me" he whispered to his other daughter.

_{Tails ran over to Soft Step to see if she was alright, then Tails finialy relised that she had to get away!WHat would happen if Splitter attacked her?"Mama!" yowled Tails as she ran away ((lolz had to get her out of the picture some how ))}

[glow=pink,2,300]Fragment was shocked,"Daddy", she meowed, "i though you didn't like us...I meen...Do you like us, your family?" asked Fragment her voice was cracked from trying to hold back tears ((Lets get the Drama started!!!))[/glow]

"You were listening to your mother weren't you" he meowed accusingly. Then he purred. "I love you." He stared at the kit.

Fragment felt tears of happness fill her eyes,"I love you to daddy" she whisperd,"and of corse I will come with you!"

"Follow me then. Don't tell them you are my daughter until you are accepted. They already are suspisious of me. I love you so much Fragment. I wish I could convince the others that I was good. I can't wait to introduce you to your siblings. I am sure Emberheart will love you like a daughter. Of course she won't be your mother" meowed Splinter. Then he led the way back to Shadowclan.

Fragment smiled and trotted after her ftaher with great joy.

Niche stared in disbelief. "Fragment? No!" Niche knew his father, knew him well. Niche knew that his father was a split personality psychopath who had tried to kill his mother.
