Sakura lay near the outskirts of loner terra. The sun felt warm on her pelt, and her eyes were closed. She simply laid there relaxing. A mouse that she'd managed to kill lay buried nearby for later eating. She sighed. Everything was peaceful...

Niche was sitting under a clumb of bracken, absolutly fine, when he saw Sakura. Emerging, he made his over to her. "heya" He mewed to heer, sitting beside her.

Sakura opened her eyes.

"Hi Niche" She mewed sitting up. The sun still felt warm against her. "What's up?" She mewed.

Niche shrugged. "Well, I just foudn a pretty she cat" He teased.

Sakura purred.

"And where might she be?" She mewed teasingly. Her heart sped up. Sakura wasn't really a flirting ot teasing kind of cat, but for some reason she felt as she could do it around Niche.

Niche shrugged. "I don't know, but I have an odd feeling I'm talking to her, but you never know, with oen eye you never have good depth perception." He mewed, shrugging agian.

Sakura smiled. But she suddenly felt uncomfortable. 'Dont worry about it' she told herself in her mind. She shook her head to clear her thoughts.
"So" She mewed "Is Skull like a leader of the rogues and loners?"

Niche shrugged. "I dunno." Then he felt a stab of regret. She looked upset. Had he said something wrong?

Sakura nodded. What had Skull meant by training them though? She shook the thought from her head. Her stomach rumbled and she remembered the mouse she caught earlier.
"Hungry?" She mewed "I caught a mouse earlier if you'd like some."

Niche shook his head stiffly.
"No, in fact, I think I should go" He murmered, hastily getting up and walking away.

Sakura felt hurt. What had she done? She stood there, tail drooping, ears flat.

"Why?" She whispered half to herself. Shaking her head she padded off, tail still drooping.

[Meerful]

Niche turned back. Maybe he had hurt her feelings. He sat down and waited to see if she'd return. He hadn't heard her, because he was deaf, and he hadn't felt it because he was embaressed at making her uncomfortable.

Sakura felt Niche's gaze burn into her pelt. Should she turn back? She was afraid she would start crying like a kit if she did begging him to tell her what she did wrong. She turned around, Niche was sitting a few fox-lengths away.
'Go to him' a voice in her head whispered.
'No, keep going' another hissed. Her head spun. She started to walk back to Niche, but said nothing.

Niche smiled. "Sorry. I've been a littel upset lately, don't wory about it. Want to go do something?" He asked, a little ashamed. Now sh'd probaby go back to that clan cat she liked so much.

Sakura smiled, a little weakly but smiled.

"S-Sure" She mewed. She felt nervous and slightly embarresed about walking away instead of just waiting.

"What do you want to do?" Sakura mewed.

[Meerful]

Niche shrugged.

"That depends. I like swimming, bur you dn't look like the swimming type." He mewed, looking at her mockingly.

"Oh really?" She growled playfully "Is that a challenge?" Her heart beated faster. Sakura was always ready for a challenge.
"Ok then, let's see you put those words into action" she mewed.

Niche smiled "Okay, hmm... Let's go to the rver" He mewed.
