Splinter caught scent of a fellow Shadowclanner. It was Fireice. Quickly he ran into the clearing. He didn't see a pretty sight. He saw Skull trying to kill Fireice. Splinter knew that if Skull wanted to kill you you would die no matter what. Still he knew he had to help. He wasn't Skull's favorite cat he never had been liked by Skull. He stalked into the clearing. "Leave her alone Skull" he hissed.

Meer turend towards Splinter. First impulse, Meer quickly ignoredi t, and wenti nto a spitting rage, turned around, and ran. //Meer lefted//
Niche watched his mom run, and turnedt o the empty space his dad would have been. A menacing snarl ferally escaped, and Niche leaped into the air, landing on what he knew was the ground a few tailengths from the space that was occupied by the nothingness in Niche's mind.

Sakura looked at the newcomer. Splinter she thought his name was. Then she watched Meer run off, then Niche jump a few tail lengths away. Her head was spinning. What was going on?

Skull didn't even look at the Shadowclanner that watched him as he pulled a paw off of Fireice's throat. His tail flicked with annoyance. Why did everyone want to watch him fight and make him be a good guy? A deep, menacing rumble sounded from his throat, a mad glint in his ocean blue eye. With a sneer he hissed, " Do you really think I would listen to a claner?" He whipped his head around, his lips pulled up in a snarl. " You think I would listen to you?" A stifling chuckle groaned unvolentarily from his mouth. It sounded similar to the wheezing of a snake crushed by the unmerciful wheel of a monster.

"Nothing can make you listen to me" hissed Splinter. He unsteathed his claws. He didn't want to fight but he was a Shadowclanner now. He had to protect his clanmates.

Niche hissed again, his body turnign into a disarray of spikes.
"Sorry Skull, but yeah, you can go ahead and kill these people. I got the wrong impression" Niche meowed, dipping his head in apology.
