[Phoenix]

Phoenix was wandering the terras and looked at the forest where she heard rumors that strange cats lived there. "I wonder what it would be like to live there with them," she meowed. She had daydreamed about what it would be like to live there, from what she had heard from others.

A mouthful of dust, eyes full of determination, a medium sized tom crossed through the Loner's Terra, each paw placed in front of the other in a single line. Every step he made clouds of dust flew about and blew in the wind. The breeze only made things worse, toying with what little blades of grass there were, running it's icy fingers along his spine, and swirling the dust around to where it almost made it impossible to see.

Arrowfeather was about to turn back, disappointed he hadn't met any loners, when he opened his jaws, taking in the sscent of a cat,and more dust. A spark of interest went through him, and excitment prickled along his back, making his fur stick up in an odd disarray. So there's a loner! Arrowfeather thought. Arrowfeather wasn't that much older from an apprentice, and he still had the naive playfulness and curiosity that an apprentice had.

[Phoenix]

Phoenix didn't hear a cat coming up behind her. She was still gazing towards the forest, wondering if she would ever go there.

[Meerful]

Arrowfeather stealthil stalked forward, getting closer and closer to the cat. When he got close enough, he could make out the fact that it was a small she cat. Curiosity gnawed at his insides as he got even closer, holding his breath to keep quiet. His body trembled with anticipation, and he had to force himself to hodl his tail still. Another step... Another breath...

Arrowfeather ounced out of the bracken he was hiding in, kicking up pools of dust as he did. In a few short moents he lost where the she cat had gone in the world of dust, but spotted her after he blinked a few times. Growling, he faced the cat.

"Who are you" He hised,a feral snarl ripping form his throat.

[Phoenix]

Phoenix was startled by the new cat. She looked at him and meowed, "I'm Phoenix. Who are you?" She looked at him and saw that he was a small amber cat. "Where do you come from?" she asked out of curiosity.

[Meerful]

Arrowfeather growled menacngly.

"From Windclan, name's Arrowfeather" He hissed. Glaring at the she- cat, he eyed her specualtively, still curious, but he tried not to let it show in his eyes.

[Phoenix]

"Are you one of those forest cats? What are they like? Are they evil or good?" Phoenix meowed, with even more curiosity. She hoped this cat was from the forest. *Maybe he'll even take me there!* she thought excitedly. "Is it fun there?" Phoenix asked.

[Meerful]

Arrowfeather raised an eyebbrow at the she cat.
"Er. Yes. We're relativly good. Erm... We hunt things. It's okay." He answered, a littel confused at hte cat's enthusiasm.

[Phoenix]

"Sorry if I sound weird. I used to live with some other cats but then they didn't have time for me. So then as soon as I could hunt and fight they left me to fend for myself. I haven't been with another cat since. I've listend in on their conversations about the forest cats, but I never went to talk to them," Phoenix said. "I've been wanting to the forest cats, but I guess I've just been to afraid that they would abandon me like the other cats I lived with." She bent down to lick her chest fur. After she was done she continued, "I've just never had a friend. I've been living out here since i was 6 moons and now I'm 15 moons."

[Meerful]

Arrowfeaher listened, slightly impressed, slightl bemused. This cat was going to possibly becoem one of his enemies. What if she joined anoher clan? Arrowfeather shook hishead. That wouldn't happen.

"Then you should join Windclan. We still take care of our elders and everything" He mewed.

[Phoenix]

"You do? Maybe I should. If I spent another night out here I could die," Phoenix said. "I really would like to join your clan."

[Meerful]

Arrowfeather nodded.

"Then you should" He mewed.

[Phoenix]

"Okay! And thank you. But would it be alright with your leader?" Phoenix asked, looking at the tom. *I still can't believe I told him what happenend to me! I hope he doesn't tell anyone,* she thought.

[Meerful]

Arrowfeahe shrugged.

"Go and find out" He mewed.

[Phoenix]

"Then let's go!" Phoenix meowed. "I hope you don't mind if I ask questions about the clans on the way there?"

[Meerful]

Arrowfeather shook his head.

"NOt at all"

Arrowfeather nodded to the she-cat, walking away, making sure she followed.

"So, how big is the clan? How many clans are there?" Phoenix asked.

[Meerful]

"Big enough, four." Arowfeaher replied. He was more of a direct question direct answer kinda person,

[Phoenix]

"How long have you been a part of the clan?" Phoenix asked, walking faster so she could walk next to him. Phoenix was nervous, she had never been off the loner terras before, but she did like adventure. "Hey, when will we get there?" she asked.

[Meerful]

Arrowfeather shrugged, letting out a wide yawn.

[Phoenix]

"Hm...okay, hey do you want go hunting on the way there?" Phoenix asked. "Also will my name be changed? If it is I want to be known as Phoenixfur."

[Meerful]

Arrowfeather shruged, once more. "I don't know what Wingstar will do. You'll just have to ask him" Arrowfeather meowed indifferently. The faint breeze ruffled through his fur.

[Phoenix]

"So Arrowfeather where is the WindClan border?" Phoenix asked.
