Glass kit stepped out of the nursery and stretched then yawned. He was a white cat with black paws and a black tip on his tail. As well, he had a black stripe from his nose to the top of head. By his size you would think he was nearly three moons old. His real age however was 5 3/4 moons.
Then he suddenly stumbled left a little, then regained his balance. He looked down at his left paw and sighed. His left paw was smaller and frailer then his right. He looked up at the sky and seemed to be lost in his thoughts.

There stood a pretty dark dark brown she-cat with large scary-looking front claws.
she Looked at the small kit,Studying him thoughtfully.
"You could make a fine warrior someday"She mewed warmheartedly.
There was something she liked about this kit,She liked all kits but this one in particular.

The cats tail flicked irritatedly,She hated when young kits or cats put themselves down.
"My father got a twisted leg,He fought and protected his clan well,He always said to me That To Win a battle with strength is good,To win a battle by intelligence is greater.Young one I think that you will be as good or better than your kit-mates,even with your leg."She mewed
She wouldn't normally give a long speech but she cared about this kit;Even if she had only met him.
Her blue eyes Stared into the distance,It had been a long time since she spoke of her father.
"I am Earthfur,Daughter of Goldeneye and Darkclaw,Sister to nightheart.
You may have seen him lurking about near the warriors den."

Hope surged in the young cat's eyes "No I haven't" He mewed. Then his eyes clouded with pain as he mewed" My father died from a snack bite at snake rocks, and my mother drowned." He looked down at his paws." Are your parents still alive" he asked as he shuffled his paws.

Earthfur looked at the kit knowing What he felt.
She looked in the distance.
"My mother was killed by a shadowclan warrior..I..I.. could have stopped him but other cats were in danger..I..sh.. should have.."
She stiffened up . she didn't like to feel vulnerable in front of anyone,especially a kit she wanted to give hope.
"And my father..well no one knowns what happened to him he disappeared.My brother still thinks he's alive but Ive given up."
She looked at the small cat,then relaxed.
"I'm sure your parents Are watching over you in The sliverpelt."
She looked faintly up at the sky.

He looked up at her" I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked" he mewed. He just realized with a pang of sorrow how much this she-cat was like his mother. He thought hopefully that she might be like a second mother to him." Since a turned three moons old, I've been catching mice since I had no mother to feed me" He mewed sadness in his voice.
" I'm almost an apprentice" He mewed excitingly to change the subject." I hope your my mentor" he mewed hopefully. Looking at his paws he asked" Do you already have and apprentice"?

She hoped that if she was to be his mentor that she would protect him better than her own kits.
She looked thoughtfully at Brownstars den.
"Tell you what,Next time your hungry just find me,We can go out hunting together."
She Looked at him,Old memorys refreshed.

Happiness overfilled him at the thought of going hunting with this warrior. He felt that his life was happier now, and the thought of Earthfur being his mentor overjoyed him.
Then he asked suddenly" Are you a queen"curiosity burning in his eyes.

Earthfur closed her eyes at what seemed half a moon,When slowly opening her eyes she mewed "Yes...i used to be."
When as if she had snapped out of a trance she shook her head.
"I had 3 kits,ThornkitBluekit and dapplekit."
She curled her tail around her and flopped on the ground.
It had been along time since she had said them names aloud to a cat, Nearly 8 moons ago.
"And my brother,The big kit of mine!"
That was true also as her brother she had been with from the start.

Earthfur could not stand to tell this kit in the mess she found them in,It would give even the strongest warrior nightmares.
So she looked directly in the kits eyes,
"Yes all of them.I think bluestripe is another cat."
If only they had lived imagine their warrior names...
Thornface,Dappletail,Bluestripe....
Her piercing blue eyes lifted off Glasskit and stared somewhere else into the past...
She snapped out of her 'Trance' again.
"Have you made any freinds lately?"Asked Earthfur
She wanted to change the subject but not be rude to the kit,
Too much pain,Too many remindereders of her past.
Maybe glasskit was a sign that starclan sent the loyal kit who reminds her so much of her past.

Then he turned to Sleepkit"Hey, do you want to play like your Fireheart and I'm Graystripe tomorrow?" He had heard the story about the famous Fireheart many times and Graystripe was his favorite cat in the story."We can play that time when Graystripe and Fireheart took food to River Clan. And you," He turned to Shadowflower,"could be Blustar and punish us." His voice was nearly at a shriek with excitement.

Not many people noticed her. Nor many people liked her. She always was alone, always wishing to be included in the fun. She always wished she could be something different-something more. Now she watched, her friend and a unknowen kit. Suddenly a spark of bravery filled her tiny heart- she was going to ask if she could play to.
"I-I-I am sorry- but c-can i play with you g-guys?"
Eclipse's beautiful white dappled fur shone softly in the setting sun's light. Her angelic voice was soft and hush, no one would ever imagion that suck a shy kit would dream about adventures of her own. Adventures where she could really be herself without the never ending judgement from other claners, just herself. 'I-I mean if you don't want me to play- T-Thats ok too" her voice stammerd as it always did. Things always sounded better in her head.

Sleepkit looked embarrased as glasskit said that. He still couldn't get over that glasskit and maybe even other cats might be thinking like that, but, in some way, he liked it." Ok, yeah, eclipskit can play," Sleepkit then turned to Shadowflower," OK, your Blustart, I'm Fireheart, Glasskit is Graystripe, and Eclipsekit is Sandstorm(paw? idk)." This'll be a fun day...
