The sun rose high in the afternoon sky as a thin breeze made it's way though the forest. Small delicate paws stepped calmly on the soft leaves that had fallen on the forest floor. This young tom cat's tail waved slowly behind him, hanging close to the forest floor. A small brown mouse scampered slowly over the fallen leaves untill it spotted the kitten walking towards him. The white tom stopped and gazed towards the spot that the mouse had dissapeared. Fantastic. Looking away he growled to himself and continued stalking through the silent forest.
Soaringkit paused next to a fairly tall tree and seated himself, pulling his tail around his hind legs as he did so. His pale green eyes scanned the surrounding forest uneasily. I'm almost six'n a half moons old and still hold the name of a kit! He bared his teeth angrily at the thought of being an apprentice aged kitten at eight moons and still living in the nursery. Flicking his ears backwards he tuckted his paws benith him and layed on the ground, eyes closed.

[shadow=blue,left,300] Severedclaw Inhaling the fresh, crisp scent of the Newleaf day, a handsome siamese tom padded swiftly through the forest. His eyes flashed a dull, ruby red as a beam of sunlight blinded him momentarily. I am a warrior through the infirmities of my body. I am the one known as Severedclaw. The smells of the nursery and his own clan wafted through the air heavily. "What is a kit doing out here?" he mewed as he slinked from behind the tree that Soaringkit was resting at. "Sick of all of the boring days that are flying by?" [/shadow]

The tiny she-cat was silently padding through the forests of Thunderclan when she smelled the area's inhabitants. And of course all I wanted was a peaceful walk in the forest, but no, I have to run into some valiant ThunderClan warriors...Oh well Spook thought, her pelt bristling then flattening again. It was their their territory after all and unlike some loners, she respected that to some extent. Sure, she tresspassed, but she would leave if they asked. Maybe if I could be nice rather than aloof.... I could try being who I was...but that might be hard... For a second you could see a flash of who the silent loner was before she left WindClan. It was as if her eyes cleared of the silver and her fur lightened, but it only lasted for a flash. As soon as it had happened, she was the silent, beautiful small loner wh onever said a word.
She continued forward soon seeing the small white tom and the handsome siamese. She smiled softly and dipped her head to the clannies.

When was the last time I joined in on a nursery game? Oh it's been about a moon now hasen't it? The small kits nose was laying in his paws as he breathed softly, his paw fur barely moving with the breaths. His ears flicked forward as he heard soft pawsteps, he lifted his head. He haden't been trained in scenting, but he knew the Thunderclan scent well. As the handsome siamese stepped out and spoke to him. His eyes gazed forward for a minute before he looked away, "Perhaps". He swallowed, "I don't feel as if I belong in the nursery" he growled. Blinking in confusion as another, different, scent caught his nose he turned to where the she cat had made her appearence, his coat ruffled.

Spook smiled coyly. Stop it she told herself. If you keep acting like that no one will trust you, her other side argued. Thats all you want isn't it, to be trusted by someone, Her first side retorted. Spook inwardly cleared the voices from her head. "Hey," she quietly mewed, her silver coated turqouise eyes gleaming. She dipped her head to the warrior and the small cat. The small kit or apprentice was as big as her and they might mistake her for one. Oh the joys of being small.

Oh, ho ho. Wasn't this just a thrill. The orange calico tom curled in the damp corner, his bright fur ruffling in a slight breeze that iluded the thick undergrowth of thorns weaving into a prickly barrier beside him. The day had been of little enjoyment to the young tom, seeing as at eight moons, he was still stuck to sleep in the nursery and listen to the constent mews of small, pitiful kits, even though his mother had long gone to her own warrior den. Sure, he could still chase the small black tadpoles in the ravine creek, and watch as they squiggled under the thick mud, or leap after the silvery white luna moths that batted their great wings as they soared into the moonlight, but it dind't have the same affect as it did when he was a small kit.
He should be an apprentice, what was taking Brownstar so long to make him one? He could imagine the leader now, her tabby pelt streaked like cobwebs the colour of mud, slowly advancing toward him before calling out his name....but that dream seemed far away now. Scorchingkit knew of a cat in Windclan, the age of a senior warrior and still confined within the nursery boundries. A quiver shook him from ginger tail tip to his small pink nose. He did not want that to be him. Besides, Scorchingkit was lithe and strong, with piercing green and sea-blue eyes, what was stopping him from finally leaving his nettle bush prison. Oh well. It wasn't worth wishing the day away with agonizing thoughts.
He seated himself beneath a short tree, small spiralling blossums cascaded down to tickle his nose and sweep away into the liquid sky. No clouds dimpled the sky, and the sun streamed down upon the kit, causing his fur to become aglow, like gold. His eyes searched for some sort of flaw, a fissure that might gradually give way to profuse grey currants, but nothing. only the faint silouette of a hawk making its rounds in the air.
Scorchingkit scanned the area, now turning his search into a quest to find some company, someone else perhaps that could share his misfortune. He didn't have much trouble. A kit whos' white pelt seemed as though it belonged in the unblemished blue sky, a handsome siamese with creamy pelt pointed with tree bark coloured fur and eyes like rubies, and finally, a silver tinted tortoiseshell with turqoise eyes, not dissimiliar to his own left eye. Strange, he didn't remember her. He slowly drew towards the grass, rocking his body gently side to side before he stalked forward, pupils round and alert, orange ears pricked like beams. His paws made a soft padding sound of the dried bed of leaves and debree. He sunk his claws into the soft carpeting as he reached the others, then cleared his throat and let out a husky, " Hello." Now just to wait for a reply to his greetings.

The fall colored leaves that littered the ground sunk as the young tom cat pushed himself to his paws. His light green eyes flickered in Anticipation as the she cat introdiced herself, how will the tom respond? His tail flickered slowly to his side, whipping him as he looked back between the two 'warriors'. He dipped his head respectfully, "Hello". As the stark white clouds drifted lazily in the sky the kittens mind raced. She isn't from Thunderclan, if she was I would have seen her! It's not like I haven't spent any time watching the camp thats all I can do! He took a deep reassuring breath before looking to the russle of grass and soft pawsteps as a young clan cat emerged from the forests depths. He gave a half smile, now this was a fellow Thunderclan, apprentice aged, kit. The corners of his mouth lifted slightly in a feline smile, "Hiya". Turning his attention back to the newly arrived she cat he blinked in confusion. "Your not from Thunderclan are you?"

Spook mrrowed in laughter, the delicate chuckle made her deep sunset orange pelt ripple. The sky was lovely, in all shades of blue. She felt like she blended in perfectly, for the some leaves were the color of her pelt. She swept her turquoise eyes over the new cat that arrived. Small, but not too. Probably an apprentice. The silver that masked a brighter turquiose beneath seemed to flow over her pupils as she meowed her response.
"Actually I'm not in ThunderClan. I was in WindClan once, but that was quite a few moons ago. I am Spook. A loner." The tiny she-cat dropped her body to the ground(not a hard feat) in a sign of submission before continuing. "I would greatly apprectiate it if you didn't drive me off imediatly. I'm one of those cats thats comes, stretches, and leaves all in a single breath. So relax. I don't mean any of you or your Clannies harm."
Spook looked at the toms hoping that they somehow knew she told the truth. She meant what she said. Thats why she usually didn't speak.
