[[ooc: so this meeting is going to have all the new apprentices and warriors being named. This is from the old activity check-- so if your mentor/apprentice is not currently active-- I will email them, and I am sure they will come online. I've seen pretty much everyone from the last activity check log in at least once. All the names and list of mentor/apprentice is in the ThunderClan Members List.
Afterwords is the naming of the Deputy-- so stick around! I will let people post first thought.
Brownstar
We must do what benefits the Clan Brownstar walked up the the highrock, it had been quite a long time since the ThunderClan leader had been up there announcing something to the Clan. Ever since Sprinklestorm passed away, Brownstar had not really been herself. Then there was the incident with Sleeppaw, which had greatly saddened the weak leader. But all that was behind her-- the name of some new warriors and a deputy would brighter her spirits-- Brownstar just loved to see the excitement in the young cat's faces. "My dear Clan, we have much to discuss today, but I will do my best to make this meeting as shorty as possible due to your busy lives. We all know Sprinklestorm and Dreamheart have passed away, and because of that we have two new cats in their positions. Although they can never be replaced in our hearts, the newly chosen cats will do a wonderful job. Mintpaw, Dreamheart's apprentice, has been given the name Mintflower by StarClan-- may she serve our Clan well. As for the Deputy, I will announce our new deputy after I announce some new warriors and apprentices."We have four new warriors entering our mist today. Farpaw, our brave and fierce warrior will be given the warrior name Farsight-- may you continue to fight strongly for our Clan. Bearpaw, you fought like a bear in battle, such strength. I give you the name Beartail. Use this name wisely and fight for your Clan. Willowpaw, you have the speed of a mouse. I give you the name Willowfur. Use that speed for your Clan. And last, there is Riverpaw, I give you the name Rivercreek-- use your kindness to all who need it. All of you, you will sit vigil tonight and attend the next gathering. Congratulations-- you will all make a wonderful addition to this Clan's warriors." Brownstar stopped for a moment to take in the moment, sucking in all the air she could before continuing on. "Our first apprentice to be named is Orangekit, may you serve our Clan well. I give you the name Orangepaw until you receive your warrior name. Your mentor shall be Patchedmask. Wingkit, I give you the name Wingpaw, may you serve ThunderClan with all your heart. Your mentor shall be Frostwing. Bronzekit, you show much potential. Serve your Clan well with the name Bronzepaw. Your mentor shall be Evermist. Rainkit, your name shall be Rainpaw until you receive a warrior name. I give you the mentor Riverpelt. Serve him and your Clan well. Soaringkit, you will serve ThunderClan well. Your name will be Soaringpaw and your mentor will be Sageleaf. Scorchingkit, although you are young, you shall make a fine apprentice. I give you the name Scorchingpaw and the mentor Fernleaf. Blackit, welcome as an apprentice and your name will be Blackpaw. Your mentor will be Severedclaw. Please serve your mentor well. I am proud of you all and you start training immediately."Brownstar looked at her dear Cats, smiling at each of them. Now this is my kind of ceremony...

Flightfall watched the ceremony with warm emerald green eyes. He loved watching ceremonies, whether they be for new apprentices or new warriors. It brought back memories of his own apprenticeship, then when he became a warrior. A sigh escaped his lips. Seeing all these new apprentices and warriors reminded him of the days with Arrowpaw and Rosethorn. Where were they, anyway? He knew for a fact that Rosethorn had gone off to the rogues, but where had Arrowpaw disappeared to? There was no use wondering anymore though, for most likely his brother was gone forever. Flightfall resumed cheering with all the other cats, waiting patiently for the next part of the ceremony. Soon the deputy would be named. Curious green eyes stared up at Brownstar. Who would be chosen? Farsight... The name echoed in Farsight's mind. He turned to Beartail, grinning wildly with excitement. This was what he'd been waiting for! He could hear his heart, pounding excitedly in his chest. Warriors... His eyes moved to Rivercreek and Willowfur, nodding to both of them in congratulations. His paws were shaking, his mind racing. Farsight blinked, just to make sure it wasn't all a dream. Sure enough, his clanmates' cheers still echoed in his ears. Pumafang made sure that his cheers for his brother were the loudest. Rivercreek... He purred at the name. This was one of the few times anyone would see Pumafang happy. That and when he was with Spook... Quickly he tried to remove the loner femme from his mind, returning his attention to Brownstar. Now that the new warriors and apprentices were named, the deputy would be announced. For now, though, Puma didn't really think about it. He only had eyes for his brother now as he continued to chant Rivercreek's new name.Rivercreek raised his head proudly, emerald eyes glittering with joy. He'd waited for this day for awhile now. Finally he could join his brother in the Warrior's Den. For the first time in awhile, Rivercreek felt that his brother was proud of him. The tabby tom beamed, stepping back with Farsight and preparing himself for the deputy announcement. Orangepaw grinned happily, touching noses with her new mentor. She felt a small stab of loneliness, however, as she realized that Sleeppaw wouldn't be here for this. She stared off into the crowd before stepping back again, not sure how she could stay happy with most of her friends gone. At least she still had Blackpaw. Orangepaw smiled at the black she-cat before her eyes again moved to the crowd. Had Nightpaw gotten a mentor too? Where was the black tom, anyway?[/blockquote]

Beartail grinned at his new name. Beartail. he was finally a warrior. The tom's white pelt glistened and was whipped lightly about in the wind. His eyes glinted with pure happiness. Maybe him and Farpa-Farsight, could get to see each other now that they wouldn't be busy with training their whole lives. Maybe they could go on a patrol tomorrow! Their first patrol as real warriors. Beartail's claws scratched the ground in anxiousness. He couldn't wait to live in thunderclan as a warrior. He would even be moving to a new den! Life seemed to be looking up. The tom turned to his brother and grinned happily.
While other cats were being made warriors though a 15 moon old she-cat sat alone. Her calico pelt was ruffeled in the breeze and she sat far away from the rest of the group. She heard Brownstar announce Blackpaw and Orangepaw. The foolish felines had almost gotten themselves killed out of rebelling to an older cat a few days before. Now they were being made apprentices? Ivypaw's injured leg sat there and her golden orbs were narrowed. What was WRONG with this clan? She was almost fifteen moons old and she was still and apprentice. Of course she was no use to the clan. She had no purpose. No use. Nothing. She would leave. Yes. Windclan? No, they always were running. Riverclan, no they needed proper limbs to swim. Shadowclan...yes. They were loyal cats and always were tightly knitted with clanmates. She would go to Shadowclan...

Cloudpaw bounded out of the apprentices den, his fur ruffled with unbridled excitement. Surely he was getting his mentor today! The little tom was trembling from head to toe, and his light blue eyes glowed with anticipation. He ran over to the middle of the clearing and sat down alone, for he was neither a kit soon to become an apprentice nor an apprentice about to become a warrior. He sat, and he fidgeted, his tail twitching impatiently. When would it be his turn? At last, the new kits were getting there mentors. He crowed his new denmates congratulations, then waited for his own ceremony. But then Brownstar stopped, his ears twitched in confusion. Surely this was the time that he was getting his mentor? But when Brownstar said nothing, his fur and ears lay flat and the excitement died from his eyes. He lowered his head in disappointment and wrapped his tail around his paws, stuggling to hide his hurt and confusion. But no, Brownstar would not forget him, his time would come.

Sageleaf padded swiftly from her den, forming a mental picture in her mind of what the scene must look like. She knew roughly what cats looked like from touching them and seeing them in dreams that seemed to have vague flashes of her parents' voices and confusing images of furry animals with long tails and bright eyes with long whiskers, which she assumed were cats. But she imagined the clearing, surrounded by trees, with a big rock which Brownstar was standing on. Many cats sat around her, and she slid forward to join their ranks. She cheered heartily as her cousin, Mintflower, was named, and then as the apprentices became her denmates. Then the kits stumbled forward on their small paws and began to get their named. As Soaringpaw was given his name and mentor, her mouth dropped slightly and her silver eyes widened in surprise. But she padded forward and touched noses with her apprentice, astonished that Brownstar would heed their requests and allow her to train a young cat of their clan. But then her mouth split into a wide smile as she gazed unseeingly at Soaringpaw.

((Oh ya, be ready for a whole arsenal of colors!))
Fernleaf laid in the shade of the warriors den, paws tucked neatly beneath her. Her bright yellow eyes flicked open as the sound of paw steps echoed across the camp. She turned her head and looked to the leaders den where Brownstar emerged and jumped atop the highrock. A small smile flicked across her face, A meeting! Finally! Maybe Brownstar is feeling more like herself? A shallow sigh escaped her maw as she yawned then stretched, sinking her long hook like claws into the soft dirt. Flicking her tail to her side she moved forward to sit beneath the highrock, she gazed up at Brownstar with admiration.
It must be hard to lead the entire clan, then see so many die. But have the lives to come back. She shook her head to clear her mind as Brownstar finished her call and as the cats began to gather. She saw all sorts of cats, even kits. She smiled and nodded towards Flightfall, He's a good cat. Even though the two hadn't really talked it didn't mean Fernleaf hadn't seen him around camp or in the forest. She turned her gaze back to Brownstar, ears flicking forward as she started naming the new warriors then the new apprentices. She cheered for the new warriors then looked around for Scorchingpaw, her new apprentice. She spotted the young cat in the crowed and moved forward, touching noses gently.
From the entrance of the camp a large, broad shouldered, brown tabby gazed out of the bushes. His brilliant yellow eyes gazed towards Fernleaf, his sister, why did she have to get all the apprentice's? He flexed his claws and looked away, mumbling the newly appointed cats names. What did I do Brownstar? He lashed his tail and sent a menacing gaze up towards the she-cat. Would she see his glare? Is it because I was a rogue? I was born Thunderclan! My blood is no different than yours! He flicked his ears back and let out a deep low growl, then he caught himself and turned away. Padding gently past Flightfall, ears flicked back and eyes narrowed, he flopped over in front of the warriors den.
Pale green eyes stared out of the warriors den, the white tom cat blinked sleepily into the sun. He heard Brownstars call, he thought that maybe she was just going to appoint some more cats to a patrol, but when he spotted her atop the highrock his spirits lifted. Soaringkit! I bet he becomes an apprentice! He smiled, a deep purr rising from his chest. Normally the kit's mother would bathe them and get them ready for the ceremony, however Streampelt had gone missing, leaving Paddingsoul with Soaringkit, and his other two kits? He wasn't sure what happened, but he tried to stay positive. Turning he padded over to the nursery, stuck his head in and told his snow white son to come out for the ceremony. When his son appeared he gave him a quick wash and lead him to the gathering of cats. When Soaringkit was named Soaringpaw he was beaming with happiness. He paused and looked around for Sageleaf, then he spotted the blind warrior. He smiled at her, although she couldn't see it. "Hello Sageleaf. Good luck with Soaringpaw!" he placed his tail over Soaringpaw's shoulders, purring.
Pale blue eyes flicked open as the dappled sunlight filtered through the top of the nursery. Soaringkit was mainly alone in the den, at six and a half moons he was lonely in the nursery, except for Cloudpaw of course. He lifted his head as Paddingsoul, his father, poked his head into the den and told him to get up. Yawning he shook his head and pushed himself to his paws, padding out into the sunlight he was met with a barrage of licks, but then he understood why. He smiled, his apprentice ceremony was today! He sat silently with his father, waiting until his name was called. Finally he was named Soaringpaw. Soaringpaw smiled and turned to look for Sageleaf, he spotted her, gaping at him. But he and his father moved forward, he touched noses with her and stepped back. His father spoke, but he stayed silent, kneading the ground.
A raven black pelt darted through the forest, pale gray brown mouse in maw. Of course I'm out in the forest as Brownstar calls a meeting! He flicked his ears back and darted through the entrance as the cats were gathering. He dropped the fat mouse into the fresh kill pile and turned to the gathering of cats, when the warriors were appointed he smiled and chanted their names, this was the first meeting he had been to. Ravenstrike pulled his long black tail over his paws and waited for the apprentice's to be named. He smiled as the apprentice's happily looked around, except for a few, but he didn't know why.
A fiery orange pelt shone out in the sun as the cats gathered in the clearing. His pelt seemed to glow, but it was only the color of course. I wonder if Drizzlepaw will ever forgive me? He turned his gaze back towards his daughter, but she didn't even send him a glance. If only Nightfur was here, then Drizzlepaw wouldn't be so down. He pulled his tail closer and gazed at Brownstar as she spoke. Flamingwing was a nice cat, but a confused one. He was born a kittypet, making Drizzlepaw half kittypet herself. He shook his head to clear his thoughts, pawing at his face as Brownstar spoke. He smiled as the apprentice's seemed to burst with joy as they were renamed.
They are all fools, very pale green eyes glared out from the shadows of the camps edges. She unfolded her legs from beneath her and moved forward, towards Ivypaw. She stopped at the young 15 moon old she-cats side. "Foolish aren't they?" her tone was dark, almost like the look in her pale eyes. Diamondwing sat down next to Ivypaw then looked to her, "How's the leg?" Diamondwing wasn't normally compassionate but when it came to sad cats with injuries, she had to be nice. She silently waited for an answer from the sad, maybe depressed, looking apprenitce.
Drizzlepaw's dappled coat glinted in the sunlight as she shifted from her spot outside the Apprentice's den. Poor Cloudpaw! she shook her head, the kit hadn't got a mentor again. She shook her pelt and padded up to him. "Hey Cloud." she thought it would be nicer not to add the end of his name. "You alright?" She sat herself down next to him and waited for an answer, then spoke. "I don't care if Brownstar didn't make you an official apprentice with a mentor." She turned to look into his eyes, "Come to my practices".

Skypaw listened to the names be called. He listened for his name. He knew he would be called Skykit though he had been calling himself Skypaw since he was six moons old. Now he was eight moons old and he still wasn't an apprentice. Perhaps he could convince Brownstar to let him skip that stage. He could become a warrior soon and could mentor. It would be so easy. He was already so far ahead of the other apprentices. All the time he had spent with the loners had trained him. Still he wasn't certain he wanted to miss out on such an important ceremony. Still he was happy for the new apprentices and the new warriors.

Blackpaw couldn't be prouder of her new mentor. Severedclaw was a fabulous cat, and Blackpaw already respected and loved him. He was like a father she had missed, and she would always go to him. Severedclaw was hers. She lifted her muzzle as if being Severedclaw's apprentice made her better than all the others. After all, which one of them got to be mentored by Severedclaw? No one, just her! She purred happily, and looked around for him. She wanted to tell him how excited she was, but different cats caught her eye.
Poor Cloudpaw! I hope he doesn't get left behind like Silentkit from RiverClan.
Ivypaw should be a warrior by now, she tatally deserves it, even if she is a bossy furball. She saved my life!
Wow, Beartail and Farsight. They're lucky. I wonder if they'll bother with a little apprentice anymore?
I wonder if anyone will have anything to do with me for the sake of doing something? Seems like the only time cats talk to me is when I'm in trouble.
Darkly, Blackpaw turned to glare at the ground her tail tip twitching. She didn't mean to get in so much trouble, it just sort of happened. Oh well, at least the greatest cat in ThunderClan was her mentor.

Brownstar & TrixterpawThe only way to get a friend is to be one Brownstar, still standing on the highrock with a smiling face, looked down at her beloved cats with a heart full of pride and he face the brightest it had been in a while. Now to name my deputy... Oh, my, I hope this is the right decision-- No, I know this is the right decision. Brownstar walked up from the back of the highrock to the front, flicking her tail for all the Clan cats to quiet down. It was time.
"Sprinklestorm was our beloved ThunderClan deputy-- and will always be a beloved cat." The brown she-cat stopped for a moment, trying to regain her composure. Sprinklestorm was more than a Deputy to her-- she was her apprentice and her friend. Sprinklestorm, Dreamheart, and Brownstar had been a team for a long time-- now everything was changing. "The new deputy will be Flightfall. He has been an honest and loyal cat; may he serve us all well. I know he will." Brownstar nodded to wards her new deputy and descended from the highrock, walking over to Flightfall and touching his nose, nodding to him. "Congratulations, you shall do well." --
Trixterpaw looked up at the highrock and his leader-- what pride he had in his Clan-- what love he had for all his clan mates at this moment. Trixter was always proud to be ThunderClan. He was always proud to be apart of a Clan-- something bigger than himself, even though he never managed to admit it. "Congratulations, Flightfall," he said quietly, not really like himself. He had no interest in talking to anyone-- he felt rather alone and quiet for the first time in his life. Hm, I need to find something to do...

Brownstar's previous word's echoed in the young gray tom's ears. His black paws remained rooted where they were, eyes wide with shock. Flightfall's emerald orbs grew round with shock. He couldn't believe it. Never had he expected Brownstar to name him deputy, especially with all the more experienced warriors around camp. The gray tom touched noses with Brownstar, feeling his black paws shaking only slightly. He felt as if he were being made an apprentice, and warrior, all over again. For a moment he was at a loss for words, wanting so badly to say something, even to protest at one point. Immediately the thoughts of protest left his mind. Brownstar chose you, trust her judgement!
Flightfall dipped his head respectfully to his leader. "Thank you, Brownstar," he mewed, managing to keep his voice steady. "I promise I'll be the best deputy I can be, though I could never hope to be as good as Sprinklestorm was." Again he dipped his head, stepping back but not able to sit down. Would the Clan approve of him? In many eyes Flightfall could still be considered a young, inexperienced warrior.
His eyes moved to the young apprentice, Trixterpaw, as he mewed his congratulations. Flightfall felt a bit surprised, for he knew the tom usually kept to himself. A small smile appeared on his lips, and he nodded to Trixterpaw. "Thanks, Trixterpaw," he mewed sincerely. {{Too lazy to post with other cats right now}} [/blockquote]

Changing and shriking, growing and forever. That was the way of all Clans. Shatterglass watched the cerimonies from the back of the clearing and smiled to herself. Not many cats had ever seen the sharp she-cat smile, but she was happy right now. She was totally loyal to her clan and that was how it would stay. It didn't matter if her scent was a third loner, a third RiverClan and a third ThunderClan. ThunderClan was the home that RiverClan or the Loner terras could never be. She had been hoping that she could be a mentor this time, but no. But the clan was healthy and there were kits in the nusery. There were plenty more chances for her to mentor. And as for the new deputy, she had never known Sprinklestorm well and she had a feeling that Flightfall would be a good choice for the clan.
Shatteredmirror's violet eyes glowed. She was the bubbly counterpart of her sister, but unlike her sister's warm center, she could be cold and harsh mentally, just not physically. But now, she felt nothing but happiniess for the growth of the Clan that had taken her in and nursed her back to health. So many new apprentices and warriors; even a new deputy, it was enlightening. Seeing her twin in the back she waved her tail to say hello, but she didn't move to sit next to her.

Severedclaw ///
Severedclaw purred as Blackpaw was named as his apprentice. There was so much to teach and show her. And it would all be his doing! He already couldn't wait to see the little she-cat become a warrior, all proud and strong! Muscles rippling under her raven pelt. Oh, how he knew that Blackpaw would become a mature and noble warrior. Severedclaw could just feel it in his bones. Looking out over the heads of the crowding warriors and apprentices, he spotted his apprentice a little away, tail-tip twitching in frustration. He pushed his way through the throng of multi-colored pelts and bounded up to Blackpaw. "So it seems to me that you truly are my apprentice," he mewed playfully.

Burningwing settled outside the warrior den, purring as the morning light dappled her calico fur, reflecting of the surfaces of her multi-coloured eyes visible beneath the droop of her eye-lids. When she heard Brownstar's call, she rose, stretching out her limbs wearily before padding forward, shifting back and forth drowsily as she struggled not to tip over completely. The thunderclan leader had already began talking, so she began to search for her son Scorchingkit, Scorchingpaw now, but as soon as she realized that Fernleaf had been made his mentor, she changed paths to trot over to her friend, a wide grin crossing over her face, letting the sunlight glisten off her long, narrow fangs that glowed skim-milk white in the shafts of sunshine.
" Congratulations Ferny! You got a apprentice, eh? Kind of a coincidence considering that you got my son as an apprentice." Burningwing let out a rumbling chuckle from her throat. " You'll have to watch out for him, he's alway getting of into things and getting himself in trouble. Not like Eclipsepaw in anyway..." She trailed off until her voice died. Shaking her head lightly, she turned the smile back into her features, and tied her speech back together. " Yes, well, I'm glad that I know my son is in good hands with you Fernleaf, I'm sure you''l be able to get him into shape!" With a mew of good bye, Burningwing made her way over to to a dappled apprentice. " Hey Drizzlepaw! Are you up to doing some training after the meeting?"
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Snakecoil had already been in the clearing when the meeting began, and he looked up immediately at the sound of Brownstar's call. Cats were now pressing around him, ruffling his dark brown fur as they pushed and shoved to get by him, their eyes flashing like jewels and hushed mews and whispers traveling through the air. Cheers of joy and acknowledgment flooded his ears as new warriors and apprentices greeted their mentors and family, the purrs in their throats like a soft sound of pinecones being rubbed together. Of coarse, Snakecoil wasn't given an apprentice, and quite frankly, he was disappointed. He didn't really want an apprentice, he wasn't sure he would be able to be so patient with the young cats as a mentor needed to be to curb a apprentices energy.
So he simply sat there, his long tail curled around his front paws, similar to a snake's coils, the white tip flickering and switching into the air like a snakes head, trying to pinpoint a small creature to have as lunch. He murmured his congratulations to the apprentices and warriors as they passed by, his whiskers twitching in the air, not dissimilar to spruce needles, swaying in the slightest breeze. Everything about the tom seemed, well, snake-like, narrow, with a tapering face and ears, long legs and a muscular yet lithe body. Not to mention his eyes, bright yellow with slits for pupils, when they turned on you it was like being caught in headlights like a deer. Had a good effect on prey too, for it paralyzed birds, just like a snake would.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Flamepaw sat below the highrock, eyes staring down angrily at his feet, brilliant ginger fur fluffed out as though he were trying to deter a chilling autumn breeze. The pupils in his leaf green eyes were thin lines of black, like a line from a fine-point pen as he gritted his ivory white teeth together. When would he get mentor? It would even be time for him to become a warrior soon. Drizzlepaw had a mentor, so why didn't he? He stole a envious glare over to his sister, scanning her dappled rusty tabby pelt and her pale eyes. He let out a angry snort, it seemed his sister always got what she wanted through pouting and whining, complaining about everything. But Flamepaw wouldn't do that, he wouldn't drop that low.
It was tempting though. Tempting to start whimpering and crying to become a warrior or get a mentor. It was almost worth it but...no. Flamepaw felt his small pink tongue brush over his bottom lip. No. He could stay strong, whatever it took he wouldn't be like Drizzlepaw. Besides, The meeting hadn't finished yet had it? He glanced quickly up at the tabby standing confidently on the huge limestone boulder, the dark brown stripes in her fur like streaks of shadows from the branches of the trees lining the clearing. The idea of becoming a loner suddenly seemed more appealing to him, though he held it down like bile in his throat.

s t o r m p a w
The russet coloured feline bounced as she walked, making her way towards the highrock. Her green eyes took in the mass of cats in the clearing, though she didn't take the time to inspect each and everyone of them. Her reason, being, was the large brown she-cat on top of the rock. Her gaze was quickly drawn to Brownstar, her voice clear and presicse as she listed the apprentices and mentor pairings. Stormpaw's ears flicked forward, and then back again, a slight frown coming to her mouth. I'm sure I didn't hear my name .. she thought vaguely, tilting her head to the side. She dismissed the thought as Brownstar announced the new deputy, and her eyes found her way to the young tom Flightfall. Congratulations she found herself saying under her breath, and she felt very happy for him. Stormpaw found herself making her way towards the group, settling herself down near the edge but close enough so that she could still clearly her Brownstar. She looked to the right and noticed Flamepaw and Cloudpaw, two other apprentices who also seemed like they hadn't gotten a mentor yet. "I wonder when Brownstar is going to tell us our mentors .. " she said in a hushed tone, her words directed towards them. "Do you think she forgot about us?" She tried to say it casually, keeping her words light and teasing, but she didn't miss the loudness of her heart as it beat inside her chest.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Fernleaf's bright yellow eyes gazed over to Scorchingpaw with admiration. She turned her clam gaze to Burningwing, one of her best friends. She smiled, "It is a strange coincidence isn't it?" She glanced at Scorchingpaw, "I won't let him misbehave." She flicked her tail playfully as she looked back to Scorchingpaw, hopefully he would behave correctly. She nodded to Scorchingpaw, "Go on and mingle with your friends, training in the morning!" She turned away from the apprentice and watched as Burningwing turned to Drizzlepaw. She slipped past her and stoped near the outskirts of the group, she looked up and spotted Snakecoil, she gave him a kind nod before sitting down and looking around the group of cats.
Ah family fights. Drizzlepaw gazed angrily up at her brother, but was she truly angry at him? She never cried out for attention, her emotions just got to her, maybe, just maybe she would talk to him. Ever since a kit she was left out of everything and anything. She glanced over to Burningwing for a split second, not completely hearing what she said. "Oh, uh-huh, sure" She flicked her tail to her side and swallowed, she needed to change and she knew it. She pushed herself away from Burningwing and the other apprentice, still not completely sure if Burningwing was talking to her.
She padded to Flamepaw from behind, she had gone out of the group and around to his backside. She moved to his side and sat down, staring forward towards Brownstar. Why hadn't the leader given him an apprentice? She sighed and looked to her flame colored brother, had she talked to their father recently? "Hi Flame" She didn't even want to add paw to the end of it, especially not kit. She looked into his eyes, "How.....have things been?" She hadn't talked to him in a long, long time, but it wasn't like she was about to give up now.

"Hi Flame"
Flamepaw looked up, eyes furrowed beneath his brow, ears turned backwards, but not yet flattened against his head. Most of the times his sister talked to him, It was to spit out some nasty insult that would be a response to his own angry hiss. The sound of his sister's voice, without the venom that it usually held, was strange, and he could feel confusion gathering in his head. Why wasn't she angry? Why wasn't she remarking smuggly abouting having a mentor while he didn't? It felt so...weird. He had thought that the hate would last between them forever.
"How.....have things been?"
Flamepaw stared down at his dark red paws, now feeling guilty for not talking to Drizzlepaw first, to be the one to try and resolve the problem that was holding them apart, like two magnets, held the wrong way towards eachother. " Hey Drizzle." He mewed, nervously. " I-well...things have been alright I guess..." He offered her a sheepish smile in an effort to rekindle their friendship.
(Blarg, short, sorry)

Drizzlepaws orange brown coat glinted in the faint light, its strange and unique black stripes and spots standing out against her brothers orange red pelt. " Hey Drizzle." She flicked her ears back then forward, trying to detect any resentment in his voice. She turned her sad eyes towards him. Why wasn't she angry? Even she didn't know. She turned and gave her shoulder a few nervous licks. What to say now? She talked to him, was she just doomed to make a fool of herself? She pulled her tail towards her and looked back up to her brother. " I-well...things have been alright I guess..."
She nodded "Good...good. Have you seen...Dust lately?" Their younger brother, she hadn't seen the young tom in moons. Had he abandoned the clan? She shifted uneasily and then looked over to Tigerheart, the large tabby tom angrily sulking at the edge of the group. "Tigerheart hasn't been given an apprentice yet. Maybe Brownstar doesn't trust him, he is and ex rogue you know." She nodded and subconsciously flinched at her sad attempt to make casual conversation. Then she remembered something, "Brownstar hasn't given you a mentor yet has she?" The fur on the back of her neck began to rise, what did Flamepaw do?

Flamepaw flicked his ears quietly as he talked to Drizzlepaw, his amber fur not quite bristled up, but definitely not lying flat against his back either. His bright green eyes stayed fixed on his paws, not looking up into his sisters pale eyes or her orangey-brown pelt, striped as through harsh shadows had been cast on her fur and clung to its surface even as she had walked away from them.Good...good. Have you seen...Dust lately?" Flamepaw looked up, turning his glistening emerald eyes up to finally meet his sister's face as she spoke. He did have to be polite after all, so far Drizzle was being kind to him "Tigerheart hasn't been given an apprentice yet. Maybe Brownstar doesn't trust him, he is and ex rogue you know."
Flamepaw felt another stab at his chest as his sister mention their brother, Dustkit, or rather Dustpaw if he would have been made an apprentice as well. The flame-coloured tom twisted his face into a worried frown. He hadn't seen Dust in awhile, and he was getting worried. Had his brother ran off? What had happened to him? The same for their mother, Flamepaw hadn't seen her for moons as well. " Well," Flamepaw began slowly. " Where ever Dust his, do you think mom is there as well?" He didn't respond to the second thing Drizzlepaw said, but rather nodded his head blankly. "Brownstar hasn't given you a mentor yet has she?" At this, the fur on his neck stood up fully, not at his sister, but rather confronting the thought.
" Yes, that is correct." Flamepaw wheezed through his clenched teeth. " But the meeting isn't over yet, perhaps she will give me a mentor before it ends."
