Roleplay? How do you do it?

[glow=white,2,300]For those of you who would like to know how to really use this site to Role play, but don;t know how, please come here and ask questions. The basics of a roleplay are simple: Create a character and then write as that character interacting with the other members. For instance, in a simplified version:

Icestar posts/writes: 'Icestar strolled out of the camp, scenting the air as she walked.'

Sandclaw would reply: 'Sandclaw saw the clan leader pad out of camp, and followed, calling a greeting. "Hello Icestar!" She called.'

Icestar would reply: 'The female turned around and smiled. "Oh, good morning!" '

Sorry, but I just got on here and I'm soo confused! First off, I want to be a riverclan cat, but It says I have to type out the application on a thread. What's a thread and how do I get one? Also, how does a thread work? Please answer, and fast! Thank you sooo much!

Starting a new thread is like starting a conversation. If you wish to apply, go to the recruitment board of Riverclan and look at the righthand side. There is an icon that says 'New Thread'. Click on that and fill out the form that appears. I hope that helps!
