I have just been talking to Stormie, and we decided we should post a thread where we my rant about Sunrise. So here it goes:

HOLY COW, I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT THEY'VE DONE TO US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read Sunrise in three hours flat today with way too many interuptions. It was AMAZING and extremely, horribly disappointing. Not because the story was bad, but because they don't FINISH THE STINKING STORY!!!!!!! The entire PoT series was a giant prologue for the new series coming. They don't even tell you what the Three are supposed to use their powers for! And where is Half Moon?! And they cannot possibly be done with Cinderheart! -gasps- Hollyleaf! Poor, dear, little Hollyleaf! She was twice as insane as Ashfur in the end! And Honeyfern -- Poor Berrynose!

CROWFEATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW COULD YOU REJECT THEM?!?!?!?!?!?!?! THEY NEEDED YOU!!!!!!!!!!

I completely agree with Sparta.
Firstly, Hollyleaf's death was utterly unbelieveable. I couldn't even believe that the Hunter team even had the guts to do that. So many Holly fans are totally let down, including me.

Secondly, PoT was almost pointless, all it did was introduce the kin of LEAFPOOL and let our imagination boil. I remember the first book of PoT..i thought the whole series was going to be amazing, but nay. It was dissapointing.

Thirdly, Crowfeather needs to tom-up and get back with Leafpool, seeing as Leafpool is done-for(as a meddie cat atleast). Forget Nightcloud, he has a real family to tend to.

Fourthly, did anyone notice how Firestar really wasn't all the important in this book? He was just there to calm the clan and get yelled atby the other leaders. The Hunter team needs to get him captured or something.... bring back the Firestar/Sandstorm relationship!

Fifthly, I won't sleep until The Fourth Apprentice : (Omen of Secrets)? comes out. I must find out which of the two kits is the Chosen one.

Lastly, Jayfeather needs a mate. And as Sparta, Half moon would be perfect. I say a new kit is born, and i named Moonkit. Then you basically commit lke a fourth of a book on their own sub polt and relationship.

I loved the darkness of the books;
though I agree that they needed some action!

Anyways,
What I disagread most about the book was Honeyfern's death ( complete random )

and they needed to make Hollyleaf's death sadder-
like....


Lionblaze wasn't there and Jayfeather was trying to dig her out,
cause he could hear her yowls as she suffocated under the dirt
but because he was blind he couldn't find her. All he could hear was her suffering.

Then Jayfeather blames himself...

I am so mad about that book! Hollyleaf killed Ashfur, Leafpool was kicked [we know she will be] out of ThunderClan, Firestar had no purpse, Lionblaze and Jayfeather showed no sadness or remorse about their sister's death. I wish Hollyleaf went out in a blaze of glory or agony, instead of disappearing into a tunnel and being crushed. I will kill the Erin Hunter!

And why wasn't there more conflict for Crowfeather? Nightcloud and Breezepelt should have skinned him alive right there at the Gathering! I was so enraged by what happened! What will happen with Leafpool? Will Crowfeather redeem himself? When will Omen of the Stars: The Fourth Apprentice come out?
WHAT? WHO? WHY? WHEN? WHAT? WHERE?!?
And what is the deal with Dovekit and Ivykit? I think [in my opinion] that that is soooo stupid!

As I was saying...
I agree that Dovekit will be the third one. But why is the next book going to be "The Fourth Apprentice"? Is there going to be another twist that we are not expecting? And Omen of the Stars is going to be the last series!!! Firestar is going to die in the last book! And I am so mad at my mom because she says [and I sort of agree] that I'm too old to read Warriors anymore.

I am fifteen, and the age-range for the books are 12 and under. I feel like such a mega-dork right now...

Fiah, my mummy says I'm too old for Warriors, too, but I shall NOT BE STOPPED!!! I love them too much, and actually, I think the series is addictive. Once you start, you can't really stop. Even my brother who hates Warriors still reads them to find out what happens. And besides, there aren't any good books for teens right now.

Hollyleaf made me really made why would she kill Ashfur to find the secret then she reveals it. I didn't like that cause I kind of liked Ashfur. Also LeafPool may be a loner thats just ahhhh....

I read it the day it came out and I was totally mad when Hollyleaf revealed the secret about her parents in front of the WHOLE ENTIRE GATHERING!!! I was kinda glad she died, hehe.... But Crowfeather was such a jerk and I hate/love him right now!! Can't stop loving Crowfeather!!

Ok... now it's time for me to flip out [coughcough] I mean remain calm about the book. It was really really really really dissapointing. And to tell you the truth.... I haven't even finished reading it yet! I'm about halfway through, but being the bad bad person that I am I read the ending and
I'M GONNA KILL THE ERIN HUNTERS!!!!!!

First of all, Hollyleaf! My poor Hollyleaf! She was my favorite character in this whole series and she gets killed unrealistically and uncerimoniously without her brothers even grieving?!?! I really didn't appreciate the fact that she randomly turned loony eighter.

Second of all...... What the crap was up with Crowfeather? He was horrible and ughh! Maybe I'm just a hopless romantic (which I am xD) but that was just horrible. Leafpool's heart is probably snapped in two(threefourfivesixseven...). Her daughter died after killing somone. Her kits hate her. Her stupid "mate" hates her. She will probably get kicked out of the clans... How can this be happening?

And third(but not last, I could ramble for hours on half of the book), I was expecting a nice wrap up or a wrap up and an opening for the next series, but no. Just like with the last one, Erin hunter leaves a thousand unanswered questions. ONly in this one, she had a million miniplots in each book that meant nothing and now we are left hanging?!? That really is annoying.
