Way back when ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and ShadowClan cats still roamed the land, a great worry swept over the cats. StarClan had quit speaking to them, and the clans began to break apart. Each clan broke apart into two clans, each their own, with brand new names. ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and ShadowClan were no more... in their places was TreeClan and LeafClan, CreekClan and MistClan, CloudClan and BreezeClan, FireClan and SunClan.
For many generations, new territories were formed, new borders, and new customs umong the cats. These new clans didn't believe in StarClan, and didn't pay any attention when StarClan broke their silence and issued a warning.
"Hard core clans have now dispersed, leaving soft twoleg pets in the lands. Out of this disgrace will rise four new clans, and you shall be no more. StarClan will rise, and betray their kin, to bring the old clans back again."
The message was sent to each clan leader, but none of the eight leaders listened to it. Soon, prey became scarce, even in the middle of Greenleaf. Cats of all clans died off, and ran away in-sought of new lands. Then, new cats came. Clever, quick, immortal cats. These cats were ghosts, ghosts of the past... cats of StarClan.
The StarClan spirits swept the lands for many years, they saw many season turns, and forced the clans to unite once again. Eight Clans have now become four again, but with some differences. Two leaders, two deputies, and two medicine cats are in each clan. When the clans combined, no cats wanted to give up their position, leaving each clan with no choice but to have double.
Over time, these double positions took on a new role. There was to be two leaders; one male, one female. Two deputies; one male, one female. Two medicine cats; one male, one female. These cats would not be mates unless they wanted, but they shared their job with eachother, and the clans became whole again.
StarClan layed new names on the four new clans, MoonClan, StreamClan, MossClan, and IceClan. IceClan can withstand cold temperatures, these cats are known for their strength. MossClan cats have a larger forest, and a lot of planty things, so a lot of woodland prey. These cats are known for their intelligents. MoonClan cats can hunt rabbits very well, can withstand cold winds... These cats are known for being speedy and swift. StreamClan cats are supurb fishers, and they are known for their swimming and stragtegy.
Then the StarClan cats went back to rest in peace. The clan cats went back to the warrior code, and their belief in StarClan has never faultered. StarClan now keeps a close watch, and StarClan cats can intervene when necessary, they can roam the eath once more. Cats of StarClan - you live on!
