[glow=red,2,300]Melodybrook padded up to the freshkill pile. Her eyes sparkled with happiness. She grabbed a over sized trout, it silver scales shimmered in the bright sun that made it's way down through the camp. She picked it up and carried it to a part of the RiverClan clearing where no cat was sitting. It was morning, and she had no apprentice, so she didn't have to train. So after eating, she wanted to go hunting. Maybe even Dragonheart would let her organize a patrol.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Doodlepelt saw Melodybrook sitting alone near the fresh kill pile and went over to see her. "Hey!" He mewed as he sat down beside her. "Can I share that?" He then asked indicating the trout. His eyes shone in the early morning sun, the prospect of a days hunting clear in their deep-green depths. She really is beautiful he thought to himself, I can't believe she doesn't already have a mate. [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Melodybrook gave a smile at Doodlepet, and she meowed brightly, "Of course." Her green eyes lit up. She purred a bit while flicking her extremly fluffy tail. The tip of her tail was black, her paws were all night colored, along with her face. This cat, Doodlepelt, is really, kind of handsome. "So, what's new with your life?" She asked, her eyes focused on his deep-green ones. As she leaned down to take a bite of the silver- scaled fish.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Doodlepelt lent over and took a bite, the fish was delicious and full of flavour, but even that couldn't bring him to look away from Melodybrook's glittering green eyes. "Well nothing much." He replied, "I was thinking of going hunting today, would you like to come?" He mewed slightly unsure of himself. The day would be perfect if she would come, but I can't put my hopes up I'm sure she has better things to do. He looked down and took another bite of the fish, he didn't really feel hungry anymore, but it gave him something to do.[/glow]

Was she falling for this cat, she had no idea, but she decided, without second thoughts that she would accept his invitation to go hunting paws down. "Of course... I would love to." Then she all of the sudden thought of something, she wanted to ask but she knew it would only lead to mishab, and so she decided to wait and find out. "I have a question, do you like trout or carp better?" Melodybrook would pick trout any day, but she was curious about Doodlepelt, and what he thought about it. She had asked a ton of cats, and all of them said carp, and that she was weird to pick trout.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Doodlepelt didn't have to think about that one. "Trout, definitely!" He meowed. I wander why she asked, I hope she likes trout too. "Which do you prefer?" He asked. It was a great day for hunting, the sun was shinning, it wasn't very hot though, seen as it was leafbare, but it wasn't too cold, it was....crisp. Doodlepelt looked into Melodybrook's eyes once more, their shimmering emerald depths made him wander if he was falling in love with Melodybrook as Dragonheart fell in love with Windstorm. If this is what love feels like then I can see why it takes cats over.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Melodybrook took a few last bites of her trouts before licking her paws. How couldt this cat have so much in common with her, she had been thinking, getting the last few tastes of the delicious trout washed down her throat before becoming quite full. She had ate her half, and she pushed the rest of to Doodlepelt. "Same. I would rather eat trout any day." It was a weird thing to talk about, trout, but it was the only thing she cold think of this point of day.[/glow]

He meowed, looking up at Melodybrook. "I could ask Dragonheart if we could go on a patrol together, if you'd like that." [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Melodybrook nodded excitingly. "Yes, I would absolutely love that. We could go on patrol, but just is maybe, or would you enjoy bringing a friend?" She asked stressfully. She didn't want him to bring a friend, but she didn't have the heart to say no if he asked. He just hoped that it wasn't a lady friend.[/glow]

He wanted to spend a day alone with Melodybrook, and he couldn't do that if another cat was tagging along with them. he made himself look away from her eyes and along her silky fur and extremely fluffy tail.[/glow]

She promised herself she wouldn't love anybody, after her mother and father left. But it didn't matter, she knew she was going to fall in love with him. "Ok! Let's go ask Dragonheart.... and than we can hit the river!"[/glow]

Doodlepelt stretched and got up. The weak sun was throwing small shadows around the camp. It made the camp look calm, peaceful.
