WindstarYou walk outside and all you see is rain...
She flicked her ears as trotted out of the dusty den. Raindrops softly fell unto the dirt, finally calming the raging dust beast. Flicking her tail tip Windstar paused just below their meeting place, her once bright blue eyes scanning the camp. Their numbers were pathetically low. If anyone decides to turn against us may Starclan grant us safety. Tilting her face towards the dark evening sky she sighed, might as well start the meeting while the sun still shone, even if it was just a little. She needed to start a meeting, but she was worried what she would find when she called to the clan.
Thunderclan is probably doing better than we are right now. It was the common thought in her mind, one that nagged and nagged at her every single day. Then the other: Stop thinking about them. Ravenstrike made his choice and you made yours. She twisted quickly and leaped up onto the highrock. She felt a swell of pride as her paws touched the smooth surface of the rock. Sitting down Windstar eyed the warriors den and the others, her worry of the clans numbers flooded back. Shaking her head she pawed at her face before speaking, "Let all those old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a clan meeting!"

{ YOUR TEARS DON'T FALL } { THEY CRASH AROUND ME } Badgersoul's green-amber eyes stared down at his herb mixture. Things has been much harder for the black and white tom since his apprentices left, but that was almost a full season ago. Growling, the large tom chewed up some more herbs and added them to the mixture. " I told you shouldn't be putting so much strain on you leg!" the large black and white tom hissed. Amber-green eyes burning into small amber ones. A small black tom looked down at his small paws. You would think he was a she-cat if it wasn't for his deeper voice; " I had to look for her- " . A loud thunder yowl made the small black tom's ears flick backwards. " Demonheart; I have told you again and again. A broken leg is a broken leg!! Walking on it will just make it worst!!" Badgersoul yowled before returning to his mixture.
The sudden yowl of Windstar made Badgersoul and Demonheart's ears prick. " You stay here; I will check what is going on" Badgersoul commanded before walking out of the medicine cat den. The large black and white tom stared up at Windstar. Waiting for the news.

Cheetahpelt &+ Mothkit
((Just saw the member's list, Mothkit needs a mentor too! Sorry, I could've sworn I posted that in the AC..))
Cheetahpelt lay outside the Nursery, warming her orange pelt, black dapples gleaming like coals in a fire. The reason the fae was outside the Nursery was simple. Though she wasn't a Queen, she still enjoyed looking out for some of the kits, one certain kit in particular. Mothkit. Cheetahpelt enjoyed the company of the white and ginger kit, although she wasn't sure exactly why. Maybe it was the fact that Mothkit reminded the ginger fae of herself when she was a kit. Soon to be apprenticed, Cheetahpelt thought, smiling at the thought. Isn't she about that age now?
At Windstar's call, Cheetahpelt moved away from the Nursery and to the center of the camp. Soft pawsteps sounded behind her, and the femme was aware of Mothkit's presence suddenly beside her.
-0-0-
Mothkit walked eagerly beside Cheetahpelt, bright blue eyes gleaming in the light. The young femme smiled, noticing how her legs were nearly as long as Cheetahpelt's. She was growing! Already she was becoming lean and swift, ready to run across the plains of WindClan. Grinning, Mothkit sat down beside Cheetahpelt in front of Windstar, gazing excitedly up at her leader. But where was Snifflekit? He needed to hurry, he didn't wanna miss this!

WindstarYou walk outside and all you see is rainl...
Windstar watched as only three cats entered the clearing. Her ears flicked back sadly. Where is everyone? She swallowed nervously. Was her clan really that small? Normally a leader got right along with the meeting but she could help but ask, "Does anyone know where the others are?" She shifted her paws nervously. My deputy isn't even here...move on. Move on. Think. What needs to be done? She let her gaze flick from one cat to another. Mothkit is here. I still need Furrykit and Snifflekit. Then Humingbirdpaw. Well hopefully they will show up.

{ I WANNA BREAK THE MOLD, WANNA BREAK THE STEREOTYPE } { FIST IN THE AIR I'M NOT GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT } "Let all of those old enough to catch their prey gather here for a Clan meeting!"
" I got it! I'm definitely old enough to catch my own prey, " hissed a silver femme as she dashed through the coarse grass. Her silver fur flashed like dapples of fish scales in the water as she bounded over boulders and wriggled under logs. Gotta hurry! Gotta hurry! Gotta hurry! Of all of the times in her life, Hummingbirdpaw had to be out with Farsight and her sister during a Clan meeting. This was the day she might get her warrior name! " I wonder what my name will be, " she mewed. She hoped it would be something tied to her sister or her mother's name. Hummingbirdsong! Or maybe Hummingbirdtail! Something cool and amazing. That was what she wanted. Excitement coursing through her tan paws, Hummingbirdpaw stretched her legs, enjoying the feeling of the mechanism of sinew, muscle, and bone. As she ran, the little apprentice thought of her sister. I wish you could be here to see my ceremony, Autumnbreeze... Of course, after she found out that her sister was alive, Hummingbirdpaw was elated. But after all of that time, she and her sister had grown farther apart than ever before. And there was that horrible secret that Autumn festered... Does anyone know where the others are?" " Well one of them has shown up! " Hummingbirdpaw barreled into the WindClan camp, her fur all fluffed out and excitement blazing in her eyes. This was the day! She was going to become a warrior... But how could you be a warrior if you defied the code that made you what you were? " Are we going to start soon, Windstar? "[/blockquote][/blockquote]

{ YOUR TEARS DON'T FALL } { THEY CRASH AROUND ME } Badgersoul let out a loud hiss as Hummingbirdpaw came trampling towards them. Not only was she late, but talking like that to a clan leader. It was outrageous. The black and white tom knew far to well how hard it came be when you first start out in a position that stood out in Starclan's eyes. Tail lashing, the large tom amber-green eyes burnt with so much ferocity that you would think that he hated the apprentice. Yet Badgersoul was known for his temper, some cats would fake being healthy so they wouldn't have to spend so much time with him.
" Watch how you talk to your elders " he hissed ferociously; " Or do you want to end up an apprentice for the rest of your life?! "

How, how, how, how, howhowhow. Ravenquill rose and drifted to the highrock effortlessly, seeming to glide over the ground, making no sound whatsoever as he reached highrock and sat at his place near the base. How had he gained such a rank? It escaped him. He was tiny, melancholic and the absolute opposite of considerate. At least, he supposed he was. How confused his mind was lately, though it seemed that it was gradually calming after the surprise of gaining the deputy title. Why could his mind just get over the fact he was chosen for deputy and let him fulfill his duty? But...being dragged out of the nursery with this chimerical role suddenly weighing down his shoulders...he forget the enigmatic situation so easily.
Of course he was grateful, infinitely grateful, to Windstar to trust him enough to have him be her deputy, but after seasons of being treated like a pestering fly, it was so much to take in suddenly being treated with perpetual respect. Shaking his head slowly, Ravenquill stared up towards the tabby she-cat that was his leader, and so far, his only friend.

Oh mousetails! A slim molted shape rocketed into camp, its leathe body flying into a heap when a single paw stuck under a pebble. The small dappled she-cat shot straight back up to her paws. Forcing out a shy smile, Duskmoon hurried forward. "sorry" she mewed softly, a quite apology for bieng late.. And tripping over herself. After she took her spot, sitting back slightly, away from Ravenquill. She was a plan old warrior... Speaking of warriors..? The tortie's green eyes whipped around the clearing. Were was everyone?
"Rude much" she muttered under her breath, flicking her ears irratably. You dont just skip a clan meeting. Lazy piles of fox dounge, thats what they are. Duskmoon twitched her whiskers, betraying her annoyances. Glancing down, she suddenly became aware that there was a thorn jammned into her for leg. Wha..? Oh. OH I must have fallen onto it! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!
Bieng very carful as to avoid anyone noticing, Duskmoon ducked her head and lifted her for leg, like she was grooming. Three, two- one! The dappled cat tugged the thorn out. Not so bad. What did all thoes warriors complaine about. Duskmoon chuckled softly, trying to distract herself from the looming answer. Because they actual felt the thorn in there paw to begin with... Duskmoon gulped in a large bubble of air, and held her breath. An odd way she relaxed herself, it made her head go fuzzy, which in retrospect probably wasn't a good thing. But it did make her forget, maybe for only a moment. But a moment of joy is better than none...

The nursury began to quiver. Violently.
"Don't start yet! WAIT FOR ME!"
Something white streaked from the inside of the bramble den, flying toward the spot where Cheetapelt and Mothkit were sitting. Panting heavily, gray eyes wide with despair, Snifflekit rammed into the both of them. "Oof! Sorry!" he gasped, though he wasn't really. He was focused on his fluffy fur. Speedily, his pink tongue whipped over the white and black tufts. "Mothkit!" he hissed urgently. "Help me wash up! The black patches need to be shiny! Oh darn, oh darn, I'm such a mess. No one'll want to train meif I look all raggedy! Help me! You too!" he flashed at Cheetapelt. Obviously, he hadn't recognized her because he felt and showed no remorse for his rudeness. After all, it was his naming ceremony.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Flurrypaw padded calmly into the camp, a small rabbit clenched firmly in his jaws. His hooded blue eyes gave him a bored expression. Mild interest flashed over his face when he noticed that the Clan was gathering. quickly, the smokey apprentice deposited his catch on the fresh kill pile and padded over to join the others. Self-conciously, he sat beside Hummingbirdpaw.
"What's going on?" he murmered.

Mothkit&+Cheetahpelt
Mothkit glanced up at Cheetahpelt worriedly, her fluffy white pelt sleek as she finished grooming. Cheetahpelt smiled down at her, but Mothkit could only reluctantly smile back. She was excited, yes, but where was Snifflekit?! If her best friend wasn't there, she wouldn't go through with the ceremony. The little cat shuffled her paws, anxiously glancing around the camp. She was honestly ready to give up on the appearance of her friend, when his voice rang through the camp. Mothkit grinned, noticing Cheetahpelt's frowning expression. The young warrior didn't seem to enjoy Snifflekit's lack of respect. Then again, Hummingbirdpaw had shown a similar lack of respect earlier by barging in. Sure enough, Mothkit would eventually have her own little outburst.
"'Bout time you got here," she purred, rasping her tongue across his pelt as he asked. Cheetahpelt looked down at Snifflekit.
"Address me with some respect and I might help you," she mewed, though she hid a smile. She'd been like that as a kit, all too eager to begin training. She'd been rude and loud, but now, after all the loss she'd suffered, she'd grown up a bit. Cheetahpelt sighed, turning her attention to Windstar and awaiting the beginning of the ceremony.
Mothkit was practically shaking with excitement. Now that Snifflekit was here, she felt that it was fine for her to yowl with joy. "Who do you think our mentors will be?" she asked, smoothing down Snifflekit's ruffled pelt. "I'd be alright with anyone other then Ferretpelt, that old mousebrain. Oh I can't wait! Just think, now we'll be training together and hunting and fighting beside each other." Her pretty blue eyes went wide with awe.

It's my life and I'm not sitting on the sidelines watching it Pass me by, I'm leaving you my legacy " Watch how you talk to your elders " he hissed ferociously; " Or do you want to end up an apprentice for the rest of your life?!
" The silver fae glared at Badgersoul balefully before turning away and padding to the front of the group and sitting down with her back turned to him. No wonder his name is Badgersoul ! He's as grouchy as a middle-aged badger going through menopause. How dare he talk to me like that! The she-cat held back a rude retort by biting the inside of her cheek. After applying so much pressure, blood surfaced and filled her mouth with its potency. Hummingbird held back the urge to spit it all out. There was no way she was going to have the medicine cat look at her mouth wound. NO way! The WindClan apprentice started grooming her lovely fur as her thoughts drifted aimlessly in her mind. She didn't want her anxiety and her tension showing, so she became peaceful and serene. She sat there for a few moments more and watched as more WindClanners strode into the clearing. The she-cat purred in quiet amusement as Duskmoon stumbled in with a quiet apology. Hummingbirdpaw waved her bird-like tail in acknowledgement and sympathy at the pretty tortiseshell warrior. A series of laughter emanted from the apprentice as Snifflekit barreled out of the nursery with his pelt a chaotic swirl of black and white. Hummingbirdpaw then turned her attention back to grooming, being really careful as to smooth the tufts of her on her flank and her chest...Until she noticed that someone had sat by her... " What's going on? " The pretty fae glanced up at the other apprentice that sat by her. It was Flurrypaw. She had never talked to him much. He seemed nice... in a introspective, quiet way. " Nothing much, so far. Windstar just called for the ceremony to begin. I think it's about to, though. Everyone of importance is here... " Though the she-cat didn't want to brag about it, she had to tell Flurrypaw. " I might be given my warrior name today!! " The apprentice crowed as she bounced up and down in excitement. " Do you think you're going to recieve your warrior name?! Maybe we'll be made warriors together and have a vigil together!! I don't want to stay up all night without anyone to be with, y'know? I mean, it would get sooo booring. "[/blockquote][/blockquote] I gotta make my mark, I gotta run it hard I want you to remember me, I'm leaving my fingerprints

Hunting, training, exploring, battling. This would be the best day of his life. The very best. Snifflekit wriggled with excitement and terror, ignoring his fur which he was more than content to let Mothkit settle. Her tongue-strokes soothed j=him a little, but was not enough to suppress his eagerness.
"I want Ravenquill to be my mentor." he confided to his friend, lowering his voice so Cheetahpelt wouldn't hear. "Wouldn't that be amazing, to be trained by the deputy?" Snifflekit's tail curled in delight and he sneezed.
------------------------------------------------------------------
"Oh," Flurrypaw mewed, not with much enthusiasm, when Hummingbirdpaw told him about the meeting. Unless he was getting a mentor today, he wasn't too interested in it. His companion, however, looked absolutely thrilled. Annoyance crossed the gray tom's face as Hummingbirdpaw begin to babble, and then his lips curled with disgust.
" I might be given my warrior name today!! Do you think you're going to recieve your warrior name?! Maybe we'll be made warriors together and have a vigil together!! I don't want to stay up all night without anyone to be with, y'know? I mean, it would get sooo booring. "
"If I get my warrior name today," Flurrypaw growled crossly. "It will be by some miracle of StarClan. I haven't even completed my training thanks to our oblivious leader." Involuntairily, his thick tail lashed. Calm down, he urged himself. Before you give in to a full-blown temper tantrum again.
Intent on ignoring the silver she-cat, Flurrypaw focused hard on Windstar. His blue eyes narrowed fiercly, darkening when his pupils expanded from his pent-up frustration.

.i won't leave a letter, no nothing at all
More cats were spilling into the clearing down, chattering animatedly, tails stroking the air, eyes gleaming through the growing darkness like tiny lanterns made from the light of bright souls. Bright souls... if that were so, Ravenquill's eyes must have just been dark umbrages as the sun was lowering behind the horizon, streaks of colour, red, orange and pink splattering against the thick clouds as though the celebrate the cats that would be gaining new ranks this evening. He could imagine their faces, shining brighter then the moon as they gained new names. That would lift his spirits. The torture of living in the nursery well into his warrior-age still dwelled in his mind. He owed Windstar his sanity, if he had been called by the name Ravenkit any longer, he probably would have gone insane, ran away and died alone. Running away had always been a option, be was always to eager to become a warrior to resort to that.
So sitting beneath the highrock, staring up at his leader, Ravenquill blocked out all the other voices. He focused on Windstar. The tabby she-cat's voice was the one that meant the most to him, and it was the one that he wanted to hear. Staring up at her, the last dying rays of sun illuminating his dusky black fur and wide yellow eyes, he smiled faintly toward the sky.
"It will be by some miracle of StarClan. I haven't even completed my training thanks to our oblivious leader."
But he could hear that. Ravenquill's head shot around faster then a song-bird's wing. What. What. What? The deputy could feel heat running from his head down to his toes, pupil's narrowing threateningly even though they should have been growing wider in the dimming light. Did that apprentice just insult Windstar? His eyes pinpointed the young tom, grey with dark blue eyes. Growling faintly under his breathe, Ravenquill stood on his long legs and weaved through the small crowd of cats toward Flurrypaw. "Excuse me," he growled lightly, unable to keep the annoyance from his voice. " How long have you been a apprentice, Flurrypaw?"
i'm sure you won't notice, that i'm even gone.

" How long have you been a apprentice, Flurrypaw?"
He flinched, slowly turning his head so that his gaze would fall cooly on the black tom. The fur on his shoulders rose slightly, giving away his feelings of discomfort. Stupid Hummingbirdpaw, all this was her fault. If she hadn't been pestering him, he wouldn't have gotten angry. But now he had to face up to Ravenquill.
Flurrypaw wasn't very fond of the deputy, but he thought that he should have been more understanding. Hadn't he been given a late naming? It was the only reason he was deputy now, after all, because of Windstar's guilty concsience.
"A few moons." Flurrypaw mewed softly in response to the warrior's question. "I only said what I did because Hummingbirdpaw can't seem to remember that I'm not twelve moons yet. Besides, I don't even have a mentor yet, not really."

HUMMINGBIRDPAWAt the sound of the deputy's calm, seething growl, the WindClan fae straightened up at stared at Ravenquill with her mouth popped open. Ooooh, Flurrypaw was in a world of trouble. " A few moons. I only said what I did because Hummingbirdpaw can't seem to remember that I'm not twelve moons yet. " Shooting a glare at the tom next to her, Hummingbirdpaw snorted and looked away, anger making her green eyes sparkle. Why was everybody so freakin' moody today?! First Badgersoul acted like he had a thorn shoved down his throat, Flurrypaw and his plain old rudeness, and now Ravenquill and being mad at Flurrypaw who was mad at her. Hummingbirdpaw looked up at Windstar, worry making her whiskers quiver. Would she really stay an apprentice forever like Badgersoul said? Clearing her throat, the apprentice nudged Ravenquill lightly, lightly laughing. " Don't worry, Ravenquill, Flurrypaw didn't mean it like it sounded. " Glancing at Flurrypaw, she mouthed silently You owe me big time! " He just meant that Wingstar was the one whom failed to mentor him. But no doubt that Windstar will do a great job appropriatly apprenticing him. See? No everyone's happy! "

Flurrypaw glared at the pretty silver apprentice, the fact that she was pretty upsetting him even more. He didn't need her help, or anyone's! Why couldn't his Clanmates just see that about him? He needed to be left alone, especially when he was angry. But even he knew that in the hard times, he would enjoy their company. "I don't owe you a thing." the gray and white tom hissed crossly, but softly so that sensitive eared cats like that nosy Ravenquill wouldn't hear. He tried to stare at her in the eye, to make it obvious how angry he was at Hummingbirdpaw during that moment. It turned out to be a much harder task than he had expected. Whipping his head away with a snort, he glowered at Ravenquill instead, trying to burn up the black deputy with his icy eyes.

Cheetahpelt & Mothkit All you've ever wanted, was someone to truly look up to you... Cause if you jump, I will jump too... ... And six feet underwater I do. ... We will fall together. Mothkit nodded as Snifflekit told her of his mentor choice. That would be amazing, to be able to be trained by the deputy of the Clan. The ginger and white fae purred, already imagining her training sessions, hoping to see a cat like Windstar or Ravenquill as her mentor. In ever vision, Snifflekit was there training with her. She couldn't wait to be able to hunt and patrol with her best friend. Mothkit grinned at him, flexing her claws anxiously as she awaited the meeting to start. Across the camp, Ravenquill was confronting to of the apprentices, Hummingbirdpaw and Flurrypaw. Her eyes grew wide; what could the two of them had done? Though she didn't know either of them very well, Mothkit knew that Flurrypaw tended to be a bit outspoken, as was Hummingbirdpaw. She shrugged it off for now. All she wanted was her mentor.
"Do you think she'll make the new warriors first?" Mothkit asked, her pelt bristling anxiously. "I'm just so excited! I wanna know our mentors, and I wanna start training. As soon as he become apprentices, we need to force our mentors to take us to see the territory together, or patrol, or whatever they wanna do! I can't wait I can't wait I can't wait!" Mothkit was practically bouncing on her paws, not embarrased at all by her kittish outburst.
Cheetahpelt smiled down at the two kits. She was eager for the ceremony to start as well, somewhat hoping that she'd get her first apprentice. She was fine with whatever happened during the ceremony. Still, as she gazed about at her Clan, memories of her terrifying premonitions entered her mind. Images of Cheetahpelt falling to the floor, blood gushing from a wound on her neck, her limbs snapped and broken... She shook the thoughts from her mind. Every night now, Cheetahpelt's dreams were tainted with those images. A shudder ran down her spine, noticeable to anyone looking at her. Tough times were coming, that was inevitable. But would they be the cause of Cheetahpelt's death?
Looking down at the two kits, mainly Mothkit, whom Cheetahpelt had adopted in a way, she could only hope not. "Be patient," she murmured, looking at the two eager kittens. "It's not like you'll be skipped over."[/blockquote]

((ALRIGHT because I had a series of things come up and wasn't able to finish this, this is how it went. As everyone conversed a wind gust swept through the land (understandable...it IS Windclan) and kicked up a dirt/dust devil. AKA a mini tornado constructed of grass and dirt, annoying and quite scary. The meeting was postponed for awhile later and was never picked back up. Windstar will continue the meeting in a few days or so.))
