A P l a c e W h e r e T h e G o l d e n S u n N o L o n g e r R e a c h e s A rouge wind howled along the plains of Windclan as the deadly grips of Leafbare began to wrap themselves around the lands of the warriors. The luscious green grass was beginning to turn brown, the tree's emerald leaves were tanning, cooler temperatures seemed to began to haunt every waking moment. The days grew shorter, the nights longer. Even the prey scenes that Leaffall was here, and Leafbare wouldn't be long behind it.
Badgersoul walked silently along the dieing plains of his homelands. Horrid thoughts clung to him like the scent of herbs. Speaking of which, he was looking for. Now that it was Leaffall Badgersoul knew he had to find as many herbs as he could before they were all buried by the snow. Badgersoul looked up at the golden sun, memroies of Goldenpaw haunted him every second yet staring at the big ball of fire made Badgersoul even miss her more.
"Goldenpaw"
The black and white tom-cat sat down and closed his eyes. Not waiting anyone to see the sorrow that filled his rusted amber eyes. "To be with her again- would be worth more to me then anything in the world". Letting out a depressed sigh, Badgersoul continued his journey for herbs.
[sorry so short =P]

A small golden cat stalks the plains when she catches the scent of another cat. It is so familiar it causes her internal pain, as if her heart is bleeding. She knows the cat. It is a black cat, not the one she loves as a mate, the one she loves as a father. A scent of herbs hangs around him. It is part of him, as she is no longer. She left when he did. She knows that he will no longer recognize her. She was a young kit when she left, big for her age. Now she is a small warrior, hardened by a loner's life. She creeps up to the cat on silent feet. She hears his whispered words and sits up. "Badgersoul, do you remember me?" she asks. ((This is after she met Ravenquill))

Badgersoul's rusted amber eyes scanned the horizon, his black and white pelt flicked in the daring sun. Badgersoul was a very large tom; frame filled with bulking muscles. His shoulder chizled out of his sides; daring to break open his skin and let his crimson blood fall upon the wold below. Badgersoul turned his head towards a faint scent, it was a scent of a loner. Badgersoul bared his teeth, rusted eyes flashing. Badgersoul was very territorial and most cats knew to keep away from him unless they really needed help. Badgersoul was only an apprentice when Goldenpaw left this world behind. He was a bigger apprentice, yet his pelt was still soft like a kit's and his ears looked almost to big for his head. When Goldenpaw died she left a single kit for Badgersoul. A single kit for him to love- yet he still was only an apprentice. He didn't know how to be a good father, and the day she left, he was still only an apprentice. Badgersoul regrets everything about his apprenticehood. If he was older- maybe he could have saved her, maybe Drizzlekit could still be walking by him.
"Badgersoul, do you remember me"
Badgersoul let out a deep growl at the sound of the loner. The loner was very beautiful, warm golden pelt, beautiful full eyes, slender frame. Yet anger took over Badgersoul- he wasn't dumb or weak like some warriors make out medicine cats to be. He knew the warrior code and he could chase this she-cat off if he wanted to. "What do you want- loner" he spat. His voice deep like thunder and cold like ice.

Dancer shied away from her father's cold voice. Could it be that he had forgotten? She knew that it was so. Her eyes narrowed and she bristled slightly, but she remembered and loved him. She could not hurt him. She stared him in the eye willing him to remember. "Has it been so long? Have you forgotten your Drizzle...father," she whispers, her voice hopeful. She has changed and she no longer looks or smells like the soft Drizzlekit he once knew. But she loved him still and she would make him remember. ((And you thought your posts were short, my muse is so dead, not that it was ever alive.))

B A D G 3 R { S O U L } Badgersoul's eyes traced over the body of Dancer; her beautiful pelt seemed to glow like the star's from Starclan. No- like the one he missed most; Goldenpaw. Badgersoul took a few steps back; memories and emotions raced through his mind- speeding through places he didn't want anyone to go through. Was she really here? was Drizzlekit really in front of him? Was it Starclan? Were they just teasing him, punishing his for breaking the code that had been given to him. Badgersoul took a few steps forward; amber eyes staring into his daughters. "Drizzle-kit" he murmured, like a broken toy. Excitement filling Badgersoul; he raced toward the she-cat.
Badgersoul pressed his muzzle into the soft pelt of his grown daughter; pushing back tears that burnt his throat. It really was here- the faded sent of Goldenpaw clung to her. Like a family crest that haunted Badgersoul for years on end. Badgersoul lifted himself from Dancer, his huge frame taller then Dancer- yet she stood so close to his hight. It made the great tom feel old. "Drizzlekit" he whispered; this time he sounded much more like himself. More like he had in moons. Badgersoul licked his daughter's ear, purring at the sight of his gorgeous daughter. "Your beautiful" he meowed. Amber eyes swelling with pride; "My little Drizzlekit"

She smiles as her father races toward her. She is pleased that he remembers her. She knows that now they will rekindle their love and become a family again. Her eyes look at her father, he seems gaunt, haggard. He has been suffering since her disappearance, or perhaps ever since her mother's demise.
"Father, I have only changed in appearence, I am still your little Drizzle and as for beauty, that is to be argued. How have you been father, are you medicine cat now? I know that it has been a long time but I had to leave, you must understand. I had to get away from this place. There were too many memories," she meows to her father. She is worried about him.

B A D G 3 R { S O U L } Darkness surrounded the two kin as the golden sun lead way to a wine sunset. Fill with fantastic colors of all sorts; beautiful pinks, guldens, blues, oranges, and every color in between. It looked as if even Starclan was celebrating the arrival of Badgersoul's daughter. Soon stars began to replace the beautiful sunset; letting way to a darken sky. Filled with millions upon millions of stars; each shinning with it's full beauty. The moon haunted it's way to the sky; pulling down the fallen Sun- making way for a new beauty. The once golden sun was to tired to fight back the silver moon; so it let itself be pushed down forest. Until the next day where it would once again take it's place as ruler of the sky.
As the sky began to change, so did Badgersoul. His once happy feelings turned to worry; what would happen to his daughter? Would they allow her back into camp. Badgersoul closed his bright amber eyes and let out a shaky sigh. Badgersoul had so much stressed pressed onto him; his beloved leaving him, his apprentice's running away, BloodLust pressing in, and the thought of his daughter not being accepted into the clan he loves. Badgersoul looked to the stars; allowing his black and white pelt to ruffle in the rouge winds of Leafall. "How... how long will you be staying" he asked simply, trying his best to keep the pain out of his voice and eyes.
