...Consumed by hate... ShadowClan Kit/Apprentice.so what if you can see the darkest side of me. .no one will ever change this animal i have become. .help me believe it's not the real me. .somebody help me tame this animal. .this animal, this animal. I...hate...everything about you... Why...do...I love you...? The mutterings that were released into the air were incoherent and so quiet and gentle that they barely disturbed the current of air that blew that tom's pelt the wrong way. Unfortunately, he was under The Hate's spell. Because of this, the large tom's eyes were jet black, completely stained with anger. His dark pelt bristled and stood slightly on end and his tail twitched insistently. He hated this world. He hated life.
But most of all.. He hated Magma and Scorpion.
In the back of his caged mind, Cavernpaw was still there. He beat upon the wall that The Hate had built and screamed in there with no end. In your mind, you don't feel pain. So he screamed forever and continued to scream because his throat couldn't hurt. And it was here, in this mind room, that the real Cavernpaw wept. The one that everyone knew--the one that was really The Hate, never would have wept. In fact, it would have killed anyone who dared to betray emotion. Cavernpaw wondered if he was possessed by some otherworldy monster that was feeding off of his pain and his life. He didn't care...
!!!He wanted out!!!
The Hate--or known as the other Cavernpaw--hissed under its breath and beat at the annoying voice until it became quiet, only whimpering quietly in its corner. And that was where it was to stay. Now was Cavernpaw insane and only imagining this? Or was he really locked away somewhere in his deteriorating mind? Don't know. And unfortunately, no one will probably ever will. 'I want out! Get out of my body! You're ruining my life...!' [shut up you dont know what youre talking about i will kill magma and scorpion for you and anyone else who dares to mess with us]
The real Cavernpaw knew that he was arguing with a lost case and kept quiet. The body--his body--pushed through scraping thorn bushes and lept over rocks. To where he was going, he couldn't tell. Cavernpaw really hoped someone would come... He really did.[/blockquote][/blockquote] .i cant escape myself. .i cant escape myself. .so many times ive lied. .so many times ive lied. .but theres still rage inside. .somebody get me through this nightmare. .i cant control myself.{{Lyrics from Animal I Have Become by Three Days Grace}}

{ YOUR PRESENCE STILL LINGERS HERE } { AND IT WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE } Such a dreadful cat; thirty for blood like one would thirst for water; hungry for the flesh of kits, like one would hunger fresh prey; stalking her kit, like one would talk it's prey. Sand-colored pelt flashed in the ball of gas we call the sun. The animal's skin clung to it's body for dear-life. It's haunting dark eyes stared deep into the pelt of Cavenpaw. Her body; samll and frail- yet such a look. A look of such haunting would cause even the leaders to flinch under, not their power, but the power and hunger to the one who also bared them. Lean muscles rippled under a sand colored pelt, light poured upon the figure. Making it look like a figure of a Starclanner. For half a second, the figure was mutated in the sunlight. Making it appear as if one of the creature's eyes was gorged out and a single limb missing. For half a second this creature was no longer an it, this creature was a legend. A legend that promised revenge, a legend that stuck fear into the hearts of all, a legend that queens told to their kits to keep them close by, a legend leaders told to their warriors to control the casualties of the clan. A legend that had swept the forest clean of all it's innocence, the legend- of Meer.
Fragmentpaw's ears perked at the sound of paw steps. Fragmentpaw had falen asleep high on a branch of the white aspen tree. Fragmentpaw looked down at the dark body that had formed beneath her. Her green eyes stretched wide to allow more light to seep into them. The she-cat's sand colored body shone softly in the light, making her look as if a halo has developed around her. " Cavernpaw? " The dark shape of the apprentice made Fragment purr deeply. Memories of the apprentice rushed through her mind, how innocent he had once been as a kit. It had been moons upon moons since she had seen him. The apprentice suddenly felt very old and realized with a burst of shock and excitement that she would be a warrior soon. Fragmentpaw got to her paws and stretched, letting out a mrrow of pleasure as it whipped through her body. The she-cat gracefully leaped from where she sat and twisted her perfectly formed head toward the young apprentice. Her green eyes pouring out emotion and love for the apprentice. Though the she-cat wasn't related to the tom in anyway, she couldn't help but feel as if Cavernpaw ( and the others of coarse ) were her own kits. Fragmentpaw had known their mother, and use to have a small crush on their father; she couldn't help but love them.
Fragmentpaw purred and flicked her tail in greeting, " Dear Straclan! You have grown!! " The she-cat purred. Pressing her flank against the apprentice." I haven't seen you in moons, I thought that you got eaten by a fox or something " she purred at her strange since of humor and stared at the tom. " What's wrong? You look like you just saw Shadowstar! " Fragmentpaw flicked her tail and sat down to wash herself off. " What have you and your siblings been up to? I herd Magmakit made medicine cat- now all he has to do is keep away from the thousands of she-cats out there and he is pretty much set for life! "

...Consumed by hate... ShadowClan Kit/Apprentice.so what if you can see the darkest side of me. .no one will ever change this animal i have become. .help me believe it's not the real me. .somebody help me tame this animal. .this animal, this animal. Light filtered down in a myriad of colors, lighting everything up to look like it all fell from the heavens. But amidst all of this, darkness consumed it all and spread. For some odd reason, this small ounce of evil tainted everything around it. It stretched its wings and wrapped it around the world, suffocating it and silencing everything. It was now a void in Cavernpaw's mind, drowning him. He tried to breathe, to break free. But The Hate laughed malignantly and pressed down harder. The broken tom inside screamed and beat at the walls of his confinement, hoping Fragmentpaw would hear him. 'Help me, Fragmentpaw! Please... I'm--' [!!!silence!!!]
Cavernpaw held back a sob and curled up in a corner. He hated where he was kept. The walls were black and seemed to move, bringing demons of shadows to smirk at him. Though the tom once seemed strong and tough, his small, undeveloped body was now weak and scrawny. Cavernpaw--the son of Fireice and Tanshadow--was withering away. The shell of Cavernpaw blinked and looked up at the she-cat that had so fondly touched him. The primal messages of its existence swirled within it. The need to kill this foolish cat was so strong in it that his mouth watered. But this was not what he was sent here for. His one mission was to kill Magma and Dawnkit. And anyone else that stood with them. This Fragmentpaw was one of them; she would have to wait to be killed, though. The Hate had to patiently wait for what it wanted: blood and murder. "Cavernpaw? Dear Straclan! You have grown!! I haven't seen you in moons, I thought that you got eaten by a fox or something. What have you and your siblings been up to? I heard Magmakit made medicine cat- now all he has to do is keep away from the thousands of she-cats out there and he is pretty much set for life!"The illusion of Cavernpaw blinked its jet black eyes and stared at the she-cat with a horrible malice glinting in its eyes. Never before had a creature--especially a cat--looked so formidable and tainted. So unearthly. The tom said nothing, but sized Fragmentpaw up like a snake would its prey. He was analyzing whether he should leave her alive... Or kill her now.[/blockquote][/blockquote] .i cant escape myself. .i cant escape myself. .so many times ive lied. .so many times ive lied. .but theres still rage inside. .somebody get me through this nightmare. .i cant control myself.

{ YOUR PRESENCE STILL LINGERS HERE } { AND IT WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE } The sandy, beautiful she-cat stared at the creature in front of her. The female's green eyes stared into the black ones that had transformed into Cavernpaw's sockets. A creature that the she-cat had seen before, a creature she had been born to. Meer, Skull, Shard, Bone, Serpent, Hoshi, Lash, Wave, Soft Step, the warriors of blood, the shadows of Bloodlust. The eyes were like burning coals; burning into Fragment's memory like the haunting of all of Starclan. Refusing her soul to join their beautiful ranks, their perfect ranks. Pushing her out of the sky, refusing her the perfection she always dreamed of. Fragmentpaw's eyes narrowed into green slits; her own fiery gaze matching that of Cavernpaw.
" You are much different then I remember " her joking died into a voice that would sound much like that of Cavernpaw's shell. A dark voice, holding secrets beyond any cat's understanding. With a flick of the tail, the she-cat sat down. Long licks rasping across her front paw. Such a common pose for a cat, almost cliche. Yet behind her innocent appearance boiled a sick emotion; a emotion of revenge and acceptance. " I wounder what Mother thinks of me... what she thought as I turned away from her... what Lullaby thought as I betrayed her... What Shard thought as a stepped out of her footsteps...all I wanted was to be accepted". Narrow green eyes turned eclipsed once again, and a humor devoured any scenes of her dark emotions that had cradled her.
"So" The she-cat purred; "What now Cavernpaw?". Fragmentpaw c o c k e d her head to one side and have a strange giggle. Her thoughts blocked by a fox-like smile.

...Consumed by hate... {{HOLDING BACK ALL OF THE PAIN}}{{DETERIORATING BY THE MINUTE}} If Cavernpaw hadn't been consumed by all of the rage and jealousy and hate in this world, he would have been such a loving creature. He would have already fallen in love with a nice, sweet she-cat, he would have been so close with his brother and sister. But Magma and Dawnkit always came first. No one remembered the one that meant nothing. There was nothing special about Cavernpaw. Much like a candle, he had only a moment to seize the day and then was snuffed. The tom never did seize the day before his existence was blown out. Once he died on the inside, darkness moved in. It overcame him and seized its day, continuing to further destroy the young tom.
'Please! Hear me, Fragment! Listen, this isn't me... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry for never caring...
The Hate listened, processing this like a robot would an analytical question. It wanted to commit further torture to Cavernpaw, antagonize him. It sensed the foolish taste of sickness--love--in the cat's voice.
Cavernpaw looked around his confinement, tears running silently down his face like rivers. Sobs raked his body and he tried his best not to lose control. He had to stay together long enough to defeat The Hate. Even if it killed him to do so. There had to be a weakness. Everything had a weakness. StarClan had a weakness, Magma had a weakness, even Meer and Bloodlust and Shard had their weaknesses. So did The Hate. But it was always out of reach, invisible. Always beyond knowing, dispicable.
'I wish you could hear me right now, Fragment,' he whispered silently, knowing that she indeed could not. 'I really wish you could hear me tell you that you mean so much to me. I never had a mother, I never had Fireice. And you were there to take care of us with your life... And this is what you get...' His voice started getting louder, reverberating from the walls. 'I wish you could hear me say mother!' The sickness was a poison to The Hate, it writhed on the inside and started losing its hold. This was its weakness: love. Since it was such a vile and wicked thing, love was its only destroyer. It had to kill so it wouldn't die. So it wouldn't cease to exist. With a feral scream that was more ancient than darkness, the shell of Cavernpaw lept at Fragment, its teeth bared and claws at ready.

{ YOUR PRESENCE STILL LINGERS HERE } { AND IT WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE } At that moment, flash met claws and fangs met fang. All Of Fragmentpaw's respect for the young cat disappeared within an instant. Chaos swirled through her mind and pure distrust made fresh bile in her throat. Swallowing it down, Fragmentpaw jumped away from her attacker. Now getting out of the battle without a few wounds though. Fresh blood clotted on a wound on her shoulder while a fresh bite mark made the sandy furs around her neck go red. The tan she-cat panted, her green eyes hard flints of forest. "Ungrateful Brat" She hissed. Baring her own, pearl white teeth.
Fragmentpaw flicked her tail back and forth, her mind tracing over each and ever battle move she ever learned. Yet she could attack Cavernpaw, could she? He was a younger apprentices, and she would be a warrior soon! What would happen if Flailstar found out, and even more then that. Could she hurt the grey tom? After Fireice died- she could lose anyone else precious to her. Fragmentpaw leaped at the tom, hoping to pin him down.

...Consumed by hate... {{ SO WHAT YOU CAN SEE }}{{ THE DARKEST SIDE OF ME }} The shell--the illusion--of Cavernpaw snickered, sounding like a choking snake. Not a single wound was upon his body, mostly because it had been trained and hardened under the cruel, terrible stress that had been brought to it. But the sickening--yet satisfying--scent of blood on the air made Cavernpaw's eyes close and roll in the back of his head and a sadistic smile settle on his lips. "Ungrateful brat." The shell laughed and spat at Fragmentpaw's feet. "Who says that the cat that you are talking to is really Cavernpaw?" The Hate watched cooly as the tan she-cat flung herself at him, but with an experienced dodge and a tumble, he quickly got out of the way. Not a single scratch mark on him. After The Hate had a practice battle with Magmapaw, he had learned a few secrets and manuevers that seemed to come in handy. "Cavernpaw doesn't exist anymore, dear Fragment. You'll never be able to tell him how much you love him. Such a sad, sad pity," the shell laughed malignantly. Mockery and torture was evident, though, bringing everything pure away from the area around.

{ YOUR PRESENCE STILL LINGERS HERE } { AND IT WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE } Green eyes burned with a fire no apology could quench; "Cavernpaw doesn't exist anymore, dear Fragment. You'll never be able to tell him how much you love him. Such a sad, sad pity,". Anger burned within the sand cat's stomach. Hatred ripped through her like a badger's claw. The wounds she had received earlier burnt like the fire that pitted in her very being. The seed of he rage. " Well then I will just have to rip him out you " she hissed under her breath. Cavernpaw had gone insane! Maybe she could make a run for Shrewspot... but no. Fragmentpaw was much to prideful to turn back now. Lunging; Fragmentpaw now leaped at him with her full force. No longer looking to make sure Cavernpaw would be okay.

...Consumed by hate... { SO WHAT IF YOU CAN SEE } { THE DARK INSIDE OF ME } "Well then I will just have to rip him out of you."
A calignous smile hovered on Cavernpaw's lips. This was fun! Most indeed fun. The shell of Cavernpaw bunched his muscles up under his thick pelt and watched Fragmentpaw like a snake would a mouse. His eyes were alight with a demonic possession and his teeth glinted in the early morning sunlight like sharpened diamonds. A whirlwind of tan flew at Cavernpaw, aiming for his throat. But there was no blood, no wounds. No Cavernpaw. He stood aside--obviously had perfectly dodged the blow--grooming his pelt matter-of-factly. This would be a most pleasant kill. The Hate inside shivered greedily at the thought of it.[/blockquote][/blockquote] This couldn't happen! Fragmentpaw couldn't die, she just couldn't! Cavernpaw screamed and flung himself at the walls, not caring about the bruises and the blood that was welling up on his cuts. It seemed that it wouldn't yield, that he would find no way to escape... And then, he was free; no matter how momentarily it was. He was free. With a gasp, the real Cavernpaw opened his eyes. A slightly insane laugh shook his body. He couldn't believe it. For some reason, he overcame his prison! His barriers!
[ i wouldnt be so sure about that. you know that i am not so easy to get rid of ] Cavernpaw's light gray eyes widened. Oh no! Y-You're still here!
[/blockquote][/blockquote] [ ive already told you cavernpaw. i will always be here. now if i were you i would watch my back. because you never know when your loved ones might just rip your throat out ]
