//Anyone can respond... please say something though...// [glow=red,2,300]A amber blotched tabby she-cat lept onto a stone. A sudden chill was sent through her paw and sent up her paw.... which was very unexpected. She was Oleander. Sh shivered, her hair on her lower back and shoulders stood up on their ends. She let her butterscotch colored eyes wondered around the area.... the four stones... growing by each stone. The grass was green, and the sky was clear... blue. She smiled... it was such a good day. The sweet scents of autumn were setting in replacing summer's beautiful warmths. The color of the leafs were starting to change... from their smooth green colors to a crimpled oranges, and reds... and even more green! Blossoms scents were carried in the small amounts of wind. The sun still set in the sky. It was such a good day... so calm, and peaceful. The amber colored leopard spotted cat let out a small sneeze, and then took a big breath... breathing in a small scent of a mouse... she smiled and again... she was about to catch a little prey. Hopping down fromt he stone, the sun reflected off her pelt perfectly, making her pelt looking darker, and landed gracefully on all four paws, without even moving a speck of dirt or crumpling a single leaf. The scent lay strong in the air... and a small ripple of excitment cuddled around her fur, it was crawling up her spine. She pushed her sleek furred haunches into the air, forcing her legs downward, and she crept forward, her hair prickled in every part of her back, and she let, her tail fall, until it was close to scraping the ground, and then she held it up, above the grass, cautious enough to make a noise. She swished it back and forth catching the wind as it went. She followed her nose... until she saw a creature lurking in the shadows of the grass, chewing on what looked like a nut. Oleander, stregthen her haunches, unsheathed her claws, and jumped, launching her front paws straight forward, skimming the grass, carrying her back legs in the movement. The mouse looked up... but a little to late, as her front paws landed on its back, leading to a snap. The impact of her weight broke its back. She smiled as she scoped up her prize with her teeth and carried it back to the rock, the fresh scent of blood filled her lungs, tempting her to eat her prey right there.[/glow]

[glow=beige,2,300]Silently a grey and white cat watched Oleander. She had never seen the cat before but she would meet her. She was Steps Soft daughter of Meer a co-leader of Bloodlust. Steps Soft was a powerful creature. Her hunger for cat blood made her even more dangerous. She was proud but careful and catious. One wrong move one wrong step could send her toppling over the edge of a cliff. She stared at the cat her eyes glowing with anticipation. Perhaps this cat was unimportant. Steps Soft could almost taste the blood. Sure she was morbid but oh well. The scent of fresh kill filled the air and Steps Soft crinkled up her nose in disgust. She hadn't eaten prey since she was a kit. Eating was weakness in less it was cat blood to her. Most of her kits acted the same way. Steps Soft stepped from the brambles that she had ben hiding in. She walked toward the cat. "Who are you?" she hissed her eyes glowing with suspision and wonder. [/glow]

[glow=white,1,000]Severedclaw had left the land of ThunderClan two nights ago, wandering the loner terras as if he was a ghost. Almost all emotion but unhappiness, misery, and hate had left only a frail shell of himself. His gray and soft-white pelt blended greatly with the shadows as he saw Oleander hunt and Step Softs walk up to her. So that's Meer's daughter.... he thought blankly. If I talk to her, I need to be cautious... His dule-blue eyes narrowed, thinking about what to do if they were to detect him if he hadn't stalked off or went up to him. The air was crisp and cool, making him ruffle his fur a little bit. His thoughts were a turmoil of lonliness and confusion as he watched the she-cats' every moves. "Greetings, Soft Steps," he said respectfully, dipping his head to her. His eyes flicked over to Oleander, but didn't say anything. [/size][/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Oleander's hairs on the back of her neck prickled as she turned around slowly to face the two intruders that had disturbed her. Her golden brown eyes melted into each of there apperances. The first one was a she-cat, just like Oleander, but unlike Olee, she had a short grey and white patched pelt. She had eyes as sharp as lightning bolts, and a scent came off of her like she was a blood thirsty cat... it was terrible to even think that way. Olee on the other hand had a brown pelt.... and amber blotches all over her sleek pelt with black outlinings. Her eyes were different too, they were a soft colored butterscotch, the kind of color glowed uncontrobally. The second cat approached the first one with caution. He was the same colors, only different shades. They also looked like a softer and more groomed pelt. The scent from ThunderClan was radiant in the air as the second cat approached. His eyes weren't like either of the other cats that were sitting int he clearing, but resembled a shade of greyish blue, the kind you had when you were sleepy. Oleader approached the first cat, and took steps forward, her prey left behind where she had caught it. She didn't like the way this cat treated, the one with the chilling scent coming off her body. "Why does it matter who I am.... but who may I ask is you?!" She spoke in a soft voice, excitment and curiosty vibrated in her paws. She waited for and repsonce.[/glow]

The sun baked stones glistened with the water that dotted her sleek tan pelt, wet from her resent visit to a small pool around the edge of her fathers territory. The rays of sunlight had drawn the young she-cat, and without cautiousness, she had darted forward to nab a small, sparkling fish, scales glinting like the sun, and as she swiped her paw across the surface, the soft sand beneath her paws had given way, even though she flailed her small paws in annoyance, the water opened up like a wound under her mass, then closing up in a white scar where she had been, until she surfaced, spitting with fury. Scorpion swiped a embarrassed tongue over her pelt, suddenly hot under her fur despite the warm granite under her paws growing chilled as a cloud passed over her in the sky. Cats. She knew that feeling anywhere. Though her eyesight was less then descent, her other senses were bizarrely acute, and she was only just beginning to get the feelings under her reign. Other members of Bloodlust, she guessed casually, rustling out her short tan fur, and craning her neck to peer over the tall grass that brushed her chin and tail. She could make out Soft step's voice, and another, not as familiar, but no less recognizable. Oleander. It sounding a little as if Steps soft was challenging her, since she didn't seem to know who the curiously spotted she-cat was. Scorpion lifted her front paws to draw them over her head, balancing awkwardly on her rear legs. Better check this out.
Gathering her legs under her, enjoying the smooth ripples of her muscles, she lunged out gracefully, arching her back so that the dark streak of chestnut lined fur crested in the sunlight, and she hung suspenseful in the air for a few moments before diving back to earth, taking the weight under her front paws before her hind fell below the grass line. Striding casually up to the cats, she caught the over powering stench of Thunderclan, and her blood red gaze flickered too a grey and white blanketed cat, like fresh snow layed upon onyx. A deep snarl rumbled in her throat, and she kept it from dieing out. This cat must know her displeasure. She was the eldest daughter of the leader of Bloodlust, Skull, and they had reason to fear the she-cat, no matter how young she still was. Struggling to tighten back up, she glared coolly at Steps soft, arching her tail leisurely before running her admiring gaze over it. Like her father, her tail was deadly, regarding her name, Scorpion. She wouldn't be pushed down to the level of the peasants like the Night, stripped of her poison tipped fang. Earlier in her life, a open wound in her tail had lead to possibilities, when her father removed the huge fang and poison sac of a king viper, carefully, and placed it in her tail, where it healed over, giving her immunity to the poison, and almost all others, and a perfect act of defense and attack. She arched the weapon above her head now, poised. " Step soft, you have no reason to confront Oleader, she is a member of Bloodlust." Her voice was venomous, and a sly grin plastered to her face, knowing that if they answered her wrong, they would die a painful death, without much discipline from her father.

Small sandy paws walked smoothly over the rough terrain. Her eyes were fixated on the sight in front of her. Bloodlust cats. Wonderful. She sighed and jumped forward to greet them.
"I'm sorry, since when do you make the orders? I believe that is for the leaders, which I am. Steps Soft can confront whoever she wants, because it's evident that she is from Bloodlust. She was simply wary of a strange cat for Oleander is a new recruit. I know you think you're tough stuffbecuase of who your father is, but don't forget you're just a kit where as these are grown warriors. They could easily pick you off. And honestly, Skull wouldn't dare touch Steps Soft. I'd kill him, or I'd die and take him with me." Meer glared at the kit. Her tail was held high and stiff, her teeth baring to show her dominance. This kit was out of her mind if she thought she could control her cats.

Her tail froze suddenly, and her breath came out in a soft whoosh. If any other cat dare talk to her like that except for her father or Shard, she would have let the snarl in her throat rip from her lungs and stab them swiftly with her tail, ending their life in a flurry of pale shapes and sounds. But she dare not talk back to Meer, not to her idol. Meer. Unlike her father, pondering over his territory, she had acctually haunted the clans and recruited many useful cats. She had killed Rubytail, Thunderclan deptuy, and many more. Skull's past kills had been left and forgotten, but the snady coloured she-cat in front of her still had her name painted in blood across many of the clans nightmares. someday, she wished to have Meer as her mentor, perhaps even now. Meer had the power to decide, being like a deputy, second in command to Skull. She was only a few eeks younger then Niche and Sakura's kits, but was just as willing and ready to train to become a important member of the group. She lowered her tail, blood red eyes glinting eagerly in the sun. " Yes Meer, of course, I just didn't want her to attack Oleader." She had a scathing, hissing voice like her father.

Meer smiled warmly at the kit, but her eye remained cold. "Well that's fine and dandy. but we treat others with respect, no matter who's kit you are. If you were my kit, I'd probably have pinned you by now. Of course, you're my..." Meer paused nad blushed. "...Friend's kit. He can decide your punishment for behaving so rudely. Well, that is if you give me a reason not to tell him." Meer's lipped formed a crooked grin. She wasn't trying to be mean to the kit, but trickery and deals was how the loner life worked sometimes, and the kit was about to learn that lesson.

[glow=red,2,300]Steps Soft smiled at her mother showing glinting teeth. She was irriatated that this kit had talked back to her. She was strong and she was young. She was the daughter of Meer she was merciless. She turned back to Oleander. "Well now you know my name and I know yours so proper introductions are no longer needed" she hissed. She of course knew that Oleander was part of Bloodlust all loners that didn't want to die were. Steps Soft had given Bloodlust 5 new kits who would be ready for apprenticeship soon. She was also hungry. She craved blood as much or maybe more than her mother. She was starving. No cats had wandered into Loner Terras for a couple of days. And if they did Meer recruited them. Meer turned to Steps Soft, and whispered fastly and quietly so only she could hear. "Don't get impatient. Blood is a necessity, and I suppose you're too young to curb it until the right kidn comes along." She whipped her head to Scorpion. "So, any ideas?"

Scorpion stared at the clouds passing peacefully in the sky, to peacefully. She let out a rumbling growl at them, in rage she could not reach them and shread them to bits instead of watching them dance gleefully. Unsheathing her claws into the moist ground, she came back to herself as Meer's voice blew through her ears. An idea?......She tried to quickly think up something that would free her from moping around cleaning the dens all day while Lyric got to go out hunting in the bright, beautiful day. She drew her tongue thoughtfully over the angular jaguar splotches that ran over her fur, a similarity she had gotten from her mother. She could almost feel the caressing licks of Sorrow, her deceased mother while she lay among her brother and sister. She would batter them with out stretched paws, even when she didn't see or really hear them. Then it went cold...so cold....Scorpion shivered along her spine, remembering only faintly when her mother passed away....because of them. Everytime it gave her a thrill to know that her first kill was only second after she was born, though it engulfed her with despair each time she remembered that she had killed her mother. Coming back from her thoughts, she turned her scalding gaze to Meer. Meer.....In order for her to get her as a mentor, she would have to impress her. Scorpion rose her gaze to stare evenly at the larger, wheaten coloured she-cat. " How about I hunt for the rest of the day, and bring you a huge hare. I saw one hopping around a day ago." She flicked her dart tipped tail in direction of the plains.

Meer's upper lip curled at the thought of having to eat prey. Eating was a weakness in her twisted mind, but she curled her lip into a smile. "Why not take it to your father? And I think that's a great idea. You know, maybe I'll come with you, just to see how you're doing. If you bring the hare to your father, he might not have to know about this little mix up." Meer grinned.
