A mother and her daughter

[glow=red,2,300]A grey and white cat named Steps Soft searched the area for her daughter. Silky. "Silky" she called in the night air. Silky had been running away and Steps Soft was tired of it. Spice had never run off. Neither had Shadow, Snap, or Strife. "Silky come here right now" she hissed. She heard pawsteps and whipped around. Her eyes glowing in the night. She stared at the place where the sound had come from...[/glow]

[Spook]

"It's just me," Spook meowed, coming out of the bushes. She looked amused. "Lost something?" she asked slyly.

[glow=black,2,300]"Mommy, you ok?"
Strife's grey pelt shone dully as she limped over to his mother. His bent paw was bleeding alittle from his claws digging into it and he dull amber eyes seemed flooded with pain. Both emotional and physical. Strife lvoed his mom more then anyone else, his sisters and brothers always left him out and most cats he come across seemed to fear him, as if he is some horrible monster. "Don't be mad mommy" he said. His small body quivering in pain, he has been in pain ever sence his claws grew out. Sadly there was no way to take this pain away, he could only hope that one day he will find someone who loved him just they way he is. Relising there was someone else near him, Strife turned to see Spook. He hissed a small pitiful hiss that sounded more like a squeak.[/glow]

[Spook]

Spook smirked in a cat-like way. The little kit was cute, but pitiful. She shook her head. "Looks like you got your paws full." She meowed.

"I will kill her" Steps Soft hissed. She licked Strife. He was the youngest and oddly enough her favorite. She knew he was in pain and she blamed her no good running off father. He had, had a twisted paw that had gone away later but...weather that would happen with Strife or not was yet to be seen. "Spook how has your training been?" she asked her eyes glinting. Spook had once been her apprentice but now she would be on her own as Steps Soft had kits to take care of.

[Spook]

"My training is going great, thank you." Spook said. Her ice blue eyes looked around. "Looking for the others?" She asked curiously with an amused twitch of her tail.

"Yes my daughter honestly I swear that she is tainted that clanner tainted her and me when he ..." Steps Soft shuddered at the thought of Mazepaw he had been too strong and he had caught her unawares. Still he had given her children who were just as evil and devious as she was.

[glow=black,2,300]Strife glared agerly at Spook, untill her relised that his mother liked her. Soon he backed off and started to lick his twisted paw that was causing him great pain. The only thing that took away the pain was causing suffering to others. Yet Strife didn't want to leave his mom alone with Spook so he stood by her just enjoying her presence.[/glow]

[Spook]

Spook smirked. "Well, then, is there anything I can do to help? You always have your paws full with your devious kits." She shook her head in disdain. She had seen the kits only once when they were tiny, but she could already tell then that they were devious little mosters. As evil as a rouge or loner should be. Spook was sharper than ice, but she couldn't make cats suffer unless they truly deserved it.

Steps Soft smiled at her old apprentice. "Well unless you want to deal with Shadow and Spice at the same time then no. Trust me those two can get into a lot of trouble. Snap would want to join I am sure though and once I find Silky..." she meowed.

[Meerful]

Meer stepped into the narrow clearing, searching for her daughter. She wanted to see how the kis were coming along, amd whether or not she was fit.
"Oh, Spook. Hello." Meer mewed icicly, noting on how Spook seemed to be acting snide. "I'm sure you should be doing something? Hunting? Helping build camp? Surely not just standing here chatting idly." Meer threatened. "Now scram. I wont get angry this time, but we've got work to do Spook, and if it doesn't get done, we might as well give up now." Meer turned to Steps Soft. "How are the kits?" Her voice became edged with concern.

[Spook]

Spook iced over, her eyes becomeing flecks and her fur forced flat. "Hello Meer." Spook said cooly, 'Actually I could be doing something useful, I'm just not. Well, if you have something important to take care of, then I should get going." If she was going to leave, she would exit herself, not just on orders from Meer.

[glow=red,2,300]Steps Soft bowed her head respectfully. "Hello mother. The kits are doing great save that Spilky keeps running away. It bothers me. She is blind and I don't know how well she can take care of herself. Of course Spice is probably with her."[/glow]

[Meerful]

Meer growled at Spook.
"Then leave. Hurry it up I have important matter to be discussed with the warriors of the group. You'res till an apprentice, so go and find something to do." Meer turned back to Steps Soft. "Silky. She'll be a great cat when she's older."

[glow=red,2,300]"Yes Meer she will" replied Steps Soft. She looked at her mother. She had inherited so much from her. "When should I go hunting?" she asked.[/glow]
