Catnip

[Eelstreak]

Amhaka sat on her housefolk's lap, purring loudly. She listened to the music that was playing on the radio, and watched the dancers on the screen of the television. The girl picked up the fluffy orange bundle and placed her gently on the couch beside her before getting up. She walked into the kitchen, and Amhaka followed. I have nice housefolk! she thought as she walked, and then sat down and waited for the girl to finish getting her food ready. She raced over as the two-leg tripped on her shoelace and droppedthe fork that was covered with canned cat food. Licking it, the girl snatched it up again and placed down her bowl.

Amhaka sat on the floor eating the gooey food, and then slowly padded outside, very content. She looked around for Chiri. "Chiri!" she called, waiting for his awnser, but soon gave up and called to Lucy. "Lucy!" She gave in again and padded under a tree, where her housefolk had planted some catnip. She rolled around in it, biting the sweet stalks, and covering her thick pelt. then she shook her fur and walked into the open, enjoying the clear sunlight.

[Lunar]

[glow=pink,2,300]Lunar had been drinking silently from a saucer of cold cream.Every lick seemed to make the precious liquid better,suddenly she herd the next door she-cat cat yelling for some one named Chris and lucky.Curiosity flushed over her,she had never meet the she- cat before.Lunar looked bot ways to see if any house folk were near before jumping onto the fence to see what the she-cat looked like, "Is something a matter?" asked Lunar as she gave her chest a cople of licks.[/glow]

Lucy looked down at Amhaka with a secretive smile starting to curve her lips. She was on the fence above her friend, and was enjoying her happyness at the catnip. Suddenly, the calico kitty-pet leaped out of nowhere, landing on top of Amhaka and then rolling off of her to hog the catnip. Lulu laughed. "Heyy Amhy!" She purred contently, satisfying her urge for the sweet plant beneath her.

[Nightfur and Co.]

[glow=red,2,300]A new black kittten, on the other side of the fence next to Lunar's house, looked through the holes on her side. Two cats she hadn't met yet were rolling around in some catnip. The little cat purred, wanting to go over there but wondering if she should--Sara, her Twoleg, might be angry at her if she did. Deciding for it, she jumped on the fence and mewed, "Hi!"[/glow]

Amhaka mewed to Lunar, "No noth-" but shewas cut off as lucy leaped on her. "Lucy!" she mewed playfully, rolling over and flipping her friend off her back. "What are you doing? I had important buisness with my catnip here!" she joked, then looked at the black kitten. "Hey kitten! Come over here and join the party!" Then she looked at Lunar, and mewed happily, "Come on!" Then she bit some more catnip and pounced on Lucy, "Mewing to everyone else, "Have some catnip if you like!"

[glow=red,2,300]"Don't mind if I do!" The kitten giggled and she leaped over the fence to land in the catnip. Immediately she started to roll, purring at its sweet smell. She shook her head to get some out of her ear. "What's your names?" She asked the she-cats surrounding her.[/glow]

"My name's Amhaka." she mewed, biting some of the stalks and chewing them, enjoying the sweet taste throughly. "This is my best friend, Lucy, and this is Lunar." She finished, and kicked Lucy in the side, but gently. She lay down beneath the bush and watched happily and licked some catnip off her fur.

[Lunar]

[glow=pink,2,300]Lunar giggled at the cats around her,it felt good to laugh again."Yea, and catnip,.Well you knowyou go crazy like a rabit mouse whan you eat cat nip(you get drunk )" Lunar said as she jumped beside the other cats.The sent of Cat nip was over welmingher,and temped her to chew it."Y-y-yea, mabye I will just have a small little leaf" she meowed yet didn't move.I WON'T eat this stuff, she thought as she stared at the sweat smelling plane, WON'T.[/glow]

[Ragged & Others]

Turf scampered over to the kittypet garden where cats talked. He immediatly looked at one to another, both embarresed and unsure he asked, "Do you folks happen to know where RiverClan is?" He was a medicine cat apprentice of TravelClan, and had gotten lost when they went through the forest. He ended up with kittypes, and depended on them, witch was bad knews for him. He was small, small as the the one that he overheard her called as Lucy. Looking at the plant beneath them he gasped. Catnip! The desert didn't have any and it was good for certain diseases. The sweet scent taunted his senses, but he refused the twmptation to eat some. "Miss, he began looking quite embarresed. "May I have some of that Catnip?

"I'm Midnight!" The kitten meowed brightly. "My brother, Silver, should be here soon..." She looked wide-eyed at Turf. "You're kinda small." She rolled around in the catnip some more. It felt so good to smell teh sweet leaves.

[Eelstreak]

Amhaka smiled at Midnight, and then looked at Turf. "River-Clan? What's that?" she mewed, bewildered. She looked at her precious catnip and mewed to Turf again, "You may have some catnip."

[Skycrystal]

Silver padded over to midnight,"Hi" He purred

[Eelstreak]

"Hiya Silver" Amhaka mewed, and then encouraged Lunar, "Come on Lunar, you know you want it, a little won't hurt." She stretched her shoulders and licked her paw.

Lucy smiled welcomingly to all of the newcomers, then jumped on Amhaka, quickly rolling over her and biting at the yummy stalks of catnip. "Mmmmm," she meowed, then turned to Turf.

[/b]"RiverClan? I know where that is! Well, I think so. At least, I know where WindClan and ThunderClan are!"[/b] The tortie giggled, her brain fuzzy from the sweet plant.[/center]

[shadow=limegreen,left,2,300]Turf looked at Lucy... "Um... Lucy is it?" He asked sounding completely embaressed, "Will you please take me to RiverClan?" He bowed his head slightly, trying to make a good impression. He was ugly if you looked at him closely. He was calco, his front right paws loked shaved off, although it was just really short fur. His Back paws did to, although no as bad. His fur was a blend of black and brown, but not inseperate, parts, but blended in. His orbs were olive green, bigger then normal eyes, and showed more color. "Please." He looked back up, and found himself depending on a kittypet, if he could blush he would be deep red, but that was impossible... considering he was a cat... covered in fur.[/shadow]

[glow=red,2,300]Midnight rolled onto her back and looked at the cats upsidedown. " 'Bout time you got here, Silvey!" She purred. At Turf's request for Lucy to take him to RiverClan, she righted herself. "Can I come?" She asked excitedly. "I've never seen a Clan afore!"[/glow]

Silver gave a purr and rubbed a paw in the catnip

"Hey Lucy, If you're going, I'm goin' too." Amhaka jumped in stubbornly. "You 'aint leavin' me behind!"

[shadow=limegreen,left,2,300]Turf didn't know what to say. He didn't want Dragon to know that he had gotten an escort by a bunch of kittypets... what would Leader say? "Er... If you guys wished to get killed... you may come. I am not trying to be offensive... but you see, there is sort of a huge battle going on with BloodClan, NightClan, and the rogues. I know you guys think it would be fun to see a clan... but, it's not a very bright... er... month for the clans." He spoke slowly, pickng his words carefully, hoping not to offend his only chance to get to RiverClan. He swung his tail nervously of the grassy ground. He looked from one cat to another, looking anxious. "I am sorry if I offended you..." He then looked down at the ground. He felt really nervous.[/shadow]

"I would love to join a clan"Ferrakit meowed bounding over the fence

[glow=red,2,300]Midnight blinked. "Fight?" She meowed. She didn't know a lot about the Clans; her mother had told her stories, for sure, telling her they were savages who didn't have Twolegs to protect them. She still thought it would be cool to see one, though. "Cool!" she meowed brightly. "I wanna come!" She attacked a bit of catnip visciously, trying to show she was fierce.[/glow]
