Northkit listened carefuly to Splashheart's breathing, so she's still awake.... thought the silver kit. "I promise, we'll always be friends." She said to Lightkit. It reminded her of another promise she had made, long ago in the lands of forever snow.

Lightkit smiled, snuggling closer to the warrior beside her. " Good." Let's hope it doesn't break.... In a matter of minutes, teh tabby kit is fst asleep, dreaming sweet dreams.

"I know your still awake Splashheart." Said Northkit once she was sure her friend was sleeping. "Just how much did you hear us saying anyway?" Northkit liked Splasheart very much, but she didn't like the idea that onother cat might know she was keeping a dangerouse secret.

Splashheart lifted her head "I was not asleep at all Northkit" she said "I wont tell anyone don't worry if I am told a secret I never tell" she purred "Lightkit is a close friend and I hope you will be too" she said kindly

Northkit was still uneasy, but she thought she could trust this cat. "O.K, I'll hold you to that." And, amazingly, Northkit fell asleep.

Splashheart purred hapily and laid her head on her paws and drifted into sleep

When Northkit awoke her friends where still sleeping, but she had no intention of going back to sleep. So the silver kit stood and stretched, then trotted still half asleep away from the camp. I'll just be out for a strech, I'll be back before they even notice. Thought the sleepy kit.
