Chapter 4: Whitefoot's Betrayal

The three cats rushed into Darkclan territory.Darkeye winced at the putrid smell of the enemy cats.Silverpelt led the way,his pelt was light from the afternoon sun.While running,darkeye noticed something,whitefoot had been very quiet,I'll ask him a question thought darkeye."Whitefoot,have you been in mysticlan all your life?"She asked as she leaped over a tree laying on the ground.Whitefoot nodded,his eyes showing no emotion as they ran through the forest.Silverpelt stopped suddenly,whitefoot went to the side of him and darkeye had to skid to a halt to avoid crashing into silverpelt.Silverpelt sniffed the air,"This is the place"He said,flicking his tail toward some bushes straight ahead.Whitefoot snarled and let out a howl,at the sound of this,darkclan's fiercest warriors came out behind the bushes,"Is it time,whitestar?"A big brown tom asked Whitefoot.Darkeye looked at silverpelt nervously,hoping he knew something about these cats.The look on his face told her the answer was no.Whitefoot nodded and turned to silverpelt,"Before these cats kill you two,I guess you deserve an explanation"He motioned to the darkclan cats to sit,and wait."A few days ago when I was patrolling I smelled the scent of darkclan"He started,"It was fresh and I knew they were in our territory,close to where I was.I told Scartail and Amberfoot to continue to patrol and that I had some buisness to take care of."Silverpelt and darkeye were still standing,hackles still raised and claws unsheathed.Whitefoot continued,"As I came closer to where the scent came from,I heard them talking about the death of their leader,Limpstar.Brownear saw me lingering in the bushes"He said as he flicked his tail toward the big brown tom."Instead of attaking me,they told me to come out,I did as I was told and casually walked out into the opening where the darkclan cats sat.Brownear told me of limpstar's death and that they didn't think any of the cats in their clan was fit to become leader.They told me I would be great"He said raising his voice,"They told me,I would be the leader and I would have all power over darkclan,so I took the job"At this,darkeye gasped and silverpelt glared,"Whitefoot you belong in mysticlan,why would you join darkclan?"Silverpelt asked,still glaring."They said I would have power and that I deserved that power"Whitefoot said simply,and he let out another yowl,and the darkclan cats got up,claws unsheathed as they came closer to darkeye and silverpelt."Whitefoot laughed,"Oh and by the way silverpelt,it's whitestar now"He said as he glared at his former clan mates.

Chapter 5:Escape


The darkclan cats came closer,darkeye could smell their hunger,a hunger for death.Silverpelt stepped infront of darkeye,"Go now,warn the clan...get them to come back up"He whispered to her.She shook her head,"I won't leave without you"She could swear that she saw a smile form on his silver face.He nodded,"Whitefo.....star,you don't have to do this"Silverpelt said,"You belong in mysticlan,you belong with your friends"Whitestar growled,"These are my friends now!"Silverpelt continued to try to persuade him,"Why,because of the power...trust me there's better thin"Whitestar interupted,"No,not because of power,because of attention!"Darkeye was confused,silverpelt had told her how much he admired whitestar."Attention?"Demanded silverpelt,shaking Darkeye of her day-dreaming."I've always trusted you...until now."Silverpelt said,feeling the same confusion as darkeye."When that retched loner over there"he said as he pointed his white tail toward darkeye,"Showed up,that's all you could talk about,darkeye's so beautiful,did you see her black coat.....it's so pretty"He mimicked.Darkeye's eyes grew wide with embarrasement.Silverpelt looked at her,and smiled.He winked and grabbed her by the scruff,he drug her,farther away from darkclan territory,and closer to mysticlan.He didn't stop into they were safe in their own clan.He dropped her and panted hardly,"That was close,but we have to be careful,they're probably going to attack soon.Darkeye wasn't thinking about darkclan,she was thinking about what whitestar said about silverpelt.He senced her thinking about it,he looked into her eyes and smiled,"I'll explain tomorrow,today you need to rest,and so do I"He said and at that he walked toward the warriors den,leaving darkeye with her thoughts"

Well I was trying to think of a history for one of the sites I joined and so I made it up.And Yes I like writing stories

Chapter 6:The battle


Darkeye woke with a jerk,she looked around,everything seemed to be normal,but she had a bad feeling.She saw that silverpelt wasn't in the den and she decided to look for him.She padded out,the sun blasted her with warmth,she could see a silver coat sitting in the clearing.Her black pelt was hot in the sun and she sat down next to silverpelt."I guess I owe you an explantion huh?"Asked Silverpelt smiling.Darkeye nodded her head,returning the smile.He turned toward her,"Look from the first time I saw you I knew you were different from other cats,you were....determind"She looked at him,"I was determind"He nodded,"You also refused to leave my side in darkclan,any other cat would have left,but you didn't"He leaned down and nuzzled her lovingly.Her soul lifted,as a tingle went down her spine,she knew she liked him and that he felt the same.Their affection was interupted when they heard Miststar on high rock.They padded over along with the other cats.As darkeye sat and waited for miststar to say anything a golden she cat came up and smiled,"Hello,you must be Darkeye,my name is goldentail"As she said this a little calico head peeked out behind her,it's eyes were wide and frightened.Goldentail looked back,"And this is spotkit"She said flicking her tail toward the frightened kitten.Darkeye felt an instant bond with this little kit,"Is she going to be an apprentice soon"Goldentail smiled,"This is her apprentice ceremony"Darkeye smiled at spotkit,"Well good luck"She said as miststar started to speak,"This meeting is held for the apprentice cereimony of Moonkit,and Spotkit"Darkeye looked over at an excited black kit with white strips,she assumed it was moonkit."Spotkit,your mentor will be...."She paused for a dramatic effect,"Darkeye!"Darkeye gasped and slowly padded forward,spotkit padded up and touched noses with darkeye and licked her shoulder.Darkeye smiled down at her and she smiled back.Miststar continued,"Moonkit your mentor will be gingerfoot"A ginger colored she cat padded up and touched noses with the little black kit.Miststar stayed on high rock,"I will also be anouncing who will be going to the gathering,darkeye,silverpelt,icestorm,firetail,starpaw and I"She said,finishing the list,"We will head out now,everyone meet me at the entrance"And with that she leaped down and padded over to the tunnel marking the entrance.Silverpelt smiled at darkeye and nuzzled her,licking her affectionatly on the ear,"You must be proud"He said.She nodded,"Also surprised,i'm new here and I thought Someone else would...."Silverpelt smiled and had innocent eyes,"I might have put a good word in for you"She scratched him playfully and smiled,"Thanks,we should get going"She said as she started over to the tunnel.


The cats raced through the forest,leaping over branches and crushing leaves.They finally reached the top of the hill on fourtrees.They looked down,there was only one clan there so far,Lightclan.Darkeye was nervous,she really had a bad feeling now.Miststar flicked her tail and the cats ran down,meeting the other cats.Miststar nodded respectingly at lightclan's leader,Wispstar,he nodded back.Silverpelt sat down,his pelt glowing.A small cat walked up to her,"Hi darkeye,i'm starpaw"Darkeye smiled,"Hello starpaw"She could smell cats coming,and turned around.Silverpelt leaned over,"That's stormclan"He said talking about the approching cats,being lead by a tall Tom that silverpelt said went by the name of Treestar.To the right of them was darkclan,being lead by none other than Whitestar,wearing a evil grin.Miststar,Wispstar,Treestar,and Whitestar leaped up on the rock infront of all the clans.Darkeye noticed there was a very small number of cats from darkclan there tonight.Her feeling was stronger than ever now.The leaders began to talk about things in their clans,when treestar turned to whitestar,"My clan has been smelling your stench in our territory.Whitestar said nothing,but continued to grin.Wispstar was next,"Us as well"Darkeye was surprised,her clan wasn't the only one to be invaded."We have proof that there had been Darkclan cats in our clan"Spat Miststar,glaring at Whitestar.He merely shrugged and yowled.What seemed like a million cats raced down the hill,and darkeye knew that was what her feeling was about.In no time,fur and blood was everwhere,darkeye found herself in battle with a brown she-cat.The darkclan cat scratched at her back,and darkeye threw her off,and scratched her belly until it was a deep red from blood,the she-cat ran off.As darkeye looked around she saw all the clans fighting against darkclan side by side.She heard a loud bang and looked up at the sky,it was black.Lightning flashed all around her,the other cats took notice as well.Branches snapped and fell with loud sounds.The wind howled and rain splattered down hard on the blood stained ground.Suddenly lightning hit a tree,a large part of it fell,and landed on top of whitestar.Darkclan cats gasped and ran over,but stopped,they didn't need to see what happened because they already knew,Whitestar was dead.The storm lessoned,and darkclan cats ran,swearing they would be back.The others just sat there,as if rooted to the cold,hard ground.
