Whisperclaw
Whisperclaw looked up from where she was and padded over. She shivered as she saw the familiar surroundings. She couldn't help it - it reminded her a lot of Stormstar. Smiling nervously, she padded over to the bottom of HighRock and looked up expectantly. |

Snowpelt accompanied Heavystorm out of the warrior's den when he heard Dragonstar's call. Lightpaw dashed out of the apprentice's den to sit by her two friends.

[glow=purple,2,300]Blackthorn was taking a nap next to her kin, Firekit and Earthkit.She slowly awoke to the soud of Dragonstar's voice, slwoly she rose to her feet and trotted grasfuly over to Wisperclaw who was looking a bit nervouse,"Hello Wisperclaw" she said sofly as a greeting.[/glow]
[glow=black,2,300]Firekit woke up to the sound of his mother leaving the nursery, he slowly raised his head to see were she was going.Firekit hadn't figured out why everyone was gathering under the rock, so he simply watched.[/glow]
[glow=black,2,300]Earthkit felt the tailtip of his brother tap his soulder,'What IS it Firekit?" he asked as he let out a huge yawn.Earthkit noticed that Firekit was looking towerds the Highrock and looked very confused."That's the highrock, it is were warriors,elders, and apprintices gatherfor meetings" explained Earthkit, happy he knew somthing his stubborn older brother didn't.FIrekit still looked confused,but nodded his head and the two brother stared out of the nursery to watch the gathering.[/glow]

Whisperclaw nodded in greeting. She thought for a moment, then mewed, "Hello, Blackthorn." She shivered again, remembering how Stormstar had stood up there, confident, ready to announce what was to happen with his Clan. The thought almost made her want to stagger with sadness. |

Northpaw scampered a little clumsily towards her friend and sat down beside Lightpaw. She was a confused for a short moment and then remembered... Oh yeah, Stormstar is dead....
"Any idea what he's going to say?" Whispered Northpaw to Lightpaw.

[glow=teal,2,300]Streampelt's flashing silver fur shined in the light.Her eyes glacning backand forth between the cats, hoping to find someone to site with.Seeing her cousin, blackthorn, she walked over to her 'HEy Blackthorn!" she meowed happly, she bowed a greeting to Whisper then sat by Blackthorn.[/glow]

Earthkit soon lost his happyness and feltvery occwerds like the room was getting smaller and smaller,"I-i-i , no nothing" he said.His tabby pelt felt hot from embarestment.
Firekit smiled "Tow kits are missing, folow me!" he hissed as he lead his younger brother out of the nursery.[/glow]

Splashheart looekd up from the side of the warriors den. She had heard the familiar clan meeting call. She stod up and shook her blue gray fur , then she turned her yellow eyes to the highrock area. She padded over to the gathering cats and took a seat near the center. She glanced around and saw sseveral cats she remembered, Angelfur, Blackthorn, Lightpaw, Northpaw, Whisperclaw, and Snowpelt. She then returned her gaze to Dragonheart.

Feathtail waddled toward the meeting and sat beside splashheart a warrior she had never met, "Do you know he's going to say?" Feathertail's voice was sweet and light, she looked around the sadness sweapt feathertail off her feet, as this reminded her of stormstar, and as she looked around, she saw Kingdomstreak sitting on the farthest corner of the meeitng, she cried and jerked her head forward.

Splashheart turned her head to the other cat, No, I'm not sure but he is probebly going to go get his nine lives. She kept her voice low so that she could hear if he started the meeting. She just smiled and turned back to the new leader.

Pheasantpaw sprang from the uncomfortable prison like place RiverClan had been keeping him for atleast four moons. Was this the cermony that would finally give him a mentor? Was this the cermony that would change his life forever. Cramps surrounded and hurt his body, but he learned to ignore the seering pain that used to kill him. |

"I am now setting off to the Moonstone I will take a patrol of: Northpaw, Lightpaw, Snowpelt and Lilyfeather. Whisperclaw will be in charge while I am away." He meowed loudly at the surrounding cats. He was still unsure of who to make deputy, there was two cats which he thought would make excellent deputies and then leaders when he died. Hopefully he would have time to think about this on the trek to the Moonstone, because when he returned, the clan would have 17 new aprentices and mentors, two new warriors.... and a deputy. [/glow]

Snowpelt nodded at his leader. He couldn't help but cheer inside. Him and his daughter, going to the moonstone together. It was just too perfect. He looked over at Heavystorm, and the younger tom smiled.
"Heavystorm hopes Snowpelt has a good trip," he meowed. Snowpelt butte dhim in the shoulder.
"Thanks, pal."
Lightpaw smiled broadly. "We're going to the Moonstone, Northpaw!" she cried happily. "Isn't this exciting?"

Northpaw's ears shot up in surprise. Moonstone? Me an Light are going to the Moonstone! thought Northpaw, barely able to contain her excitement. Her eyes lit up, "This is great!" she whispered excitedly to Lightpaw, "We get to go together!"

Pheasantpaw went over to talk with the two over excited apprentices, Northpaw, and Lightpaw. His brown ear twitched slightly as he began talking. He still was really good at talking to other apprentices, and so a small knot formed at the bottom of the brown apprentices' throat, "Congratulations, Miss Northpaw, as well as you Miss Lightpaw." He nodded as he spoke, still containing his poliotness as a way to make friends. After a while he would retire from the unwanted habit, for right now though, he would have to keep with the program to stay under cover. |
