"Have trouble accepting you? Have you met any other clan cat besides this Turf?" He poked her with the tip of his brown tail.

Midnight giggled; that tickled! "Not really. I mean, I thought I smelt another one, a big white one that talked with Dusty, but that's it. She said her name was Cloudstorm."

[Sky & Eagle]

Eagle squinted his eyes in thought. "Cloudstorm...Nope doesn't ring a bell. Well, I suppose anything is better than kittypet." The little cat to his right nodded in agreement. "I never was one so I can't even imagine."

[glow=black,2,400]Rouge narrowed his eyes at Eagle untrustingly and glared at Midnight all the while. She was too soft, and on top of that she wanted to join the clans. If she wanted to join the Clans, why didn't she do so instead of following them around?[/glow]

Meer turned to Midnight. "You don't really want to join the clans do you? I mean, they are going to all die, so you'd be best off with the ones brining them down, besides, you're too adorable to kill" Meer joked.

"Tch," Eagle let a noise out of his mouth. Midnight was adorable but that didn't mean she had to make an ultamadum (sp?) now. "Clans are soft Midnight. But do what ever you want."

[Meerful]

Meer growled. Somehow Meer knew there was something special about the happy go lucky kit that popped up ALMOST every where she went. It was a conundrum indeed. <- me love that word.

[Thorn & Co. (Night)]

Midnight c o c k e d her head. "What do you mean they're all gonna die?" she asked. She didn't like where this was going. SHe noticed Rogue staring at her, and hissed, "Got my face memorized yet?"

Eagle hissed and raised his hackles menacingly (sp?). However when he spoke, his voice was deathly calm. "I don't think that would be a good idea Rogue."

For once Splinter agreed with him. "One would look even better on yours Rouge" spat Splinter. This cat was going a little to far suggesting he would hurt the defenseless kit. Splinter's fur bristled and his back arched. His ears lay flat against his scalp and his teeth were bared. He was forcing himself to be under control but was close to going over the edge.

[Sky & Eagle]

Trying to relax now that he knew Splinter agreed with him, Eagle wrapped his tail around his paws so they wouldn't see him flex his claws. If that cat put one claw out of line with Midnight. Even if she hated him for it, he would not let Rogue ruin her life.

[Thorn & Co. (Night)]

MIdnight hissed again, felt her claws shoot out. She crouched down low, her tail lashing side to side. "you do that and I'll give you one to match!" she growled.

[Sky & Eagle]

Amused by her enthusiasm (sp?) Eagle lightly pushed her back with the pure brown of his tail. "Relax." He cast a meaningful look at all the cats. "We're all just excited about Skull."

[Meerful]

Meer growled at all of them. "Now listen, we will hurt no one . As for you Midnight, there will be a war against the clans. This information is for your ears ony, and not for the clans. Now, if I hear anymore about clawing, scratching, or biting, you'll all find yourselves with as many legs as myself." She hissed.

[Thorn & Co. (Night)]

Midnight looked down at the ground and studied the dirt. "sorry, Meer. Sorry, Eagle," she apologized. She stuck her tongue out at Rogue.

[Sky & Eagle]

Eagle restrained a purr, but just barely. Midnight was so innocent. It would be a shame if she joined the clans only to be restrained by the warrior code and it's followers. He dipped his head to Meer to say that he understood.

[Meerful]

Meer scowled at Midnight. "How would you like to do that again, and we'll see where that goes" She growled, but with an undertone of amusement. Meer began a growl like purr. "Oklay, enough all of you, let's get on to what I was saying. Midnight, would you like to join the rougues, it would be tragic for you to join the clans, and then be held down by the laws and restrictions. As a loner, you atre free, and as a loner, you have us." Meer explained. She dipped her head in respect to Eagle. he was knowledgable, annoying, butknowldegable and a good comrade.

"Well--um...." Midnight thought hard about it. She wanted to join RiverClan, but she had friends in the...loners, had Meer called them? She wanted to fish and learn and be a warrior--but it sounded fun being a loner, too, didn't she want to be free? She looked up to Meer, really, but did she want to live with her? Maybe.

"I can try it," she mewed. "But...if I join RiverClan anyway, would you visit?"

[Sky & Eagle]

"I'd visit." Eagle mewed. When she looked at him he grinned. "I don't have any reason to be there but maybe if I got caught I could say I was visiting you," he teased.

Splinter relaxed and walked over to Meer and sat down. "I am sorry Meer I lost control" he meowed. He would try to control his temper better.

[Burningwing]

[glow=black,2,300]The wind howled a bit louder. The snow began to fall. Birds scattered from the trees, not just one but them all. Lighting clattered in the sky, spreading terror and dread. For the only one who the weather changed for was the one that would strike you dead.

The bushes began to rattled, like a tail of solid bone. The ground began to tremble, like someone had struck gold. The terror began to spread as white flashed through the trees. For death was standing before them, the one with eyes that gleamed.

Skull stepped forward, his blue ice eyes seemed to crack silence throughout the land. He lashed his tail twice, making the unearthly clattering sound. His snow white fur was bristled like a hedgehog. His black lined eyes twitched, his night coloured nose sniffed. Ebony filled ears drew back menacingly.

Eagle twitched in surpirse. He took in Skull and the weather. Realizing that he was way out powered he lowered his head. This cat was dangerous and not afraid to use his power.

Midnight watched in awe and fear as Skull came into view. She wrapped her tail around her body and shivered, shifting closer to Eagle. The kitten found herself scared of the white cat before her, and she shrunk back.

Skull was better than Splinter had ever imaginoned yet his power seemed to over power Splinter. He looked away from the cat. He got a little closer to Meer. He did wonder if Skull could fix his twisted paw.

[Meerful]

Meer purred. "Greetings Skull. How might you be?" Meer mewed to her leader. A hint of amusement gleamed in her eye atthe other cat's awe.

[glow=black,2,400]Rouge hissed when Skull appeared and flattened his ears in suprise. Racking his brains for some explanation, he remebered Meer describing Skull. So this must be Skull. he thought. His tail tip twitched on the ground, and his ears remained flat against his head. The white cat before him had an unearthly aura of power and Rouge could sense it.[/glow]

Seeing Meer relax Eagle raised his head slowly. He noticed Midnight behind him and pressed his side to hers. He held a little pride that neither of them had hissed like Rogue did.

[Meerful]

Meer growled softly at the other cats. They should be trying to please Skull, not show how they had more pride and didn't need to prove themselves worthy. Meer had to, and no other cats were going to walk to easy path.

(Sky, you're powerplaying, ROUGE DIDN'T JUMP! He hissed, is that called jumping? If I said he had jumped, I wouldv'e posted that, sorry if that seems mean, but I HATE it when people powerplay my characters. *calms down*)

[glow=black,2,400]Rouge snapped his head around and glared at Eagle momentarily before turning back to Skull. Glancing briefly at his bone tail, he looked the white cat straight in the eye and spoke. "You must be Skull, Meer told me about you. Also... Meer said you could use a cat like me, how may I be of assistance to your needs?" Fear did not show in his voice or his body movements, but it burned faintly inside him, as well as respect.[/glow]
