[Sky & Eagle]

Eagle followed Meer and Rogue back into loner territory. He immediately felt better and relaxed into a jog. The cats stopped in a clearing and he sat with his back to a large rock. All he had to do was wait for instruction. And then decide if his pride was worth his life.

[Meerful]

Meer looked back every now and again, hesitating for each cat to catch up, she held a fast pace, and she felt n need to slow, but she did for he other cat's welfare. She noded as each caught up, and set off again towards a rather large boulder.
"This is where I had my first lesson with Skull, we're best off waiting for him here, hepops up here alot, to help me and Shard. He is very reliable. I trust him completely" She mewed to the others.

[Nightfur and Co.]

//Yes, I am partially following you guys around. ^-^ Is it alright if I have another kittypet-hoping-to-be-RiverClanner-beocming-a-loner crash this thread after a while? You can cue me, one of you, if I can. She's being ignore din the 'recruiting' thread, so I thought I'd try here.//

Meer stopped. She the same paw steps behind her. "Ginger!" She growled.

[glow=black,2,400]Rouge kept and even pace with Meer as he padded onwards through the forest into the Loner Territory. When Meer reached the stump, he sat down, determined to wait however long it took for Skull. When he heard pawsteps, he hissed in frustration. What's the deal with people following us!?[/glow]

//Erm, Midnigght! She growled.//

Meer was mistaken. It was Midnight. "Midnight?" She asked. Meer had a somewhat recogition of the cat. "What are you doing?" She questioned.

[Nightfur and Co.]

Midnight stepped out of the long grass. The black kitten perked her ears. Forest cats! "Hi! Meer, right?" asked she, sitting down and wrapping her tail around her front paws. The bell on her red collar jingled. She hated it, and wanted it off.

[glow=black,2,400]Rouge swung his head around to face Meer. "You know this cat?" he asked, his silver pelt flashing in the sun.[/glow]

Meer nodded. "She wants to join the clan or something, and I'm hlping her I guess, she's just a kitten" She mewed. Meer wasn't going to kill a kitten, tey were too cute and fuzyy, and Meer wanted some herself someday. "Do you want to join me? I'll help you, Splinter and I will watch after you" Meer reassured the small little kitten. Meer took a glance at the red bell. It was the most pitiful sound she had ever heard.
"C'mere" She sid, her teeth wanteing to yank it off.

Midnight looked warily at Rogue, noticing the blood on his paws. She didn't like the feel of him. The nine moon old kit slinked over to stand by Meer. "Who's Splinter?" she mewed.

[Meerful]

Meer reached forward. "He's my...You'll find out when you meet him" She said. She reached forward and bit down on the leather of the red colloar. It didn't budge to easy. She bit harder, and it snapped so quickly her teeth scraped and cracked together, causing her to shudder with chills. Sh picked the collar up by the bell to lessen it's pathetic jingling, and buried it. "Man I hate those things!" She growled at the collar.

[Nightfur and Co.]

Midnight pulled against Meer as she snapped her collar off and watched as she buried it. There it went, the last bit of her life as a housecat. "Gee, thanks, Meer," she mewed uncertainly. "Um..." she looked at Rogue, than Eagle. "Who're they?"

[Sky & Eagle]

Eagle purred at the question and introduced himself. "I am Eagle. Nice to meet you Midnight." He like the pure black kitten immediately and shot a glare at Rogue when he looked at her with disdain. "You look happy to have that thing off."

[glow=black,2,400]Rouge returned the glare and gave Eagle a low warning growl. Turning to face the kitten, he intruduced himself. "I an Rouge, I was rescued by Meer from the twolegs." he growled, trying to be friendly.[/glow]

Splinter walked into the area. "Hello Midnight I am Splinter" he said. He knew that if Meer wanted to adopt this little kitten they would raise it with their kits.

[Sky & Eagle]

"Splinter." Eagle nodded to the tom knowing that if his temper flared here he would be severly out numbered. He didn't know if Meer would support him or not but he was leaning towards not. This tom had her trust. Midnight look small and lost compared to the other cats. He purred and washed his right paw liking the feel of his muscles under thick brown fur.

[glow=black,2,400]Rouge flicked his tail in aknowledgement as Splinter walked in. As soon as he met Skull, he could learn more about the Rouge's and other things, and maybe even about Skull himself.[/glow]

One of the reasons Splinter was there was because he didn't trust the tom Eagle. "So Rouge how are you?" he asked completly ignoring Eagle. He knew that Rouge might try to win Goldenpaw's heart so that she would be a better rouge.

[glow=black,2,400]"I've been good, you?" he replied. Then he added, "How often exactly does Skull come here?" he inquired. Feeling a cold touch on his shoulder, he looked up, only to discover snow was filling the ground with small white flakes.[/glow]

"I don't know. I am good" replied Splinter.

[glow=black,2,400]Rouge flicked his ears in aknowledgment and then fell silent again. While they waited for Skull, he thought about well, life in general. After a while he sighed and stood up. After shaking the gathering snow off his pelt, he sat down again.[/glow]

Skull again, Eagle thought. I hope this guy is as important as everyone makes him out to be. Splinter settled near Meer and Rogue leaving him facing the three and Midnight watching from the side. He flicked his tail back and forth out of boredom.

[Meerful]

Meer nodded. "Well, they did the talking for me, yeah, it's cool midnight, we're buddies." Meer smiled at the kit, Meer had a soft spot for their small little selves. They are so cute and fuzzy and... I want some Meer thought.

Splinter looked at Midnight. "So Midnight why did you leave your twolegs?" he asked.

[Nightfur and Co.]

"Yes, I am! That thing itched me real bad, and the only time Sara took it off was to take me to the vet." Midnight liked these cats. Splinter scared her a little, but maybe she'd get used to it. She still didn't trust Rogue, but Eagle seemed nice enough. "Well....I liked it well enough," Midnight explained. "But then Turf came, and he told me all about RiverClan, and it sounded like fun! That's where I'm headed." She still wanted to join RiverClan, and learn everything they taught their apprentices. So she was three moons over the starting age! She could catch up.

Rouge restrained himself from glaring at Midnight when he saw the mistrust in her eyes. Rouge didn't trust the kitten himself, as she acted towards liking her twolegs a little to much for him.[/glow]

Midnight eyed Rogue sideways. He wasn't that much older than her, she thought, maybe just a few moons. He smelled like a normal kittypet, so he hadn't been out here long. She had learned that a kittypet was a housecat, weak and unable to defend themselves, from Autumn. He probably thought the same as her--that she didn't need twolegs to take care of her. But he was fiercer than that, angrier than that. She would have to watch him.

"Join the clans?" Eagle asked. He couldn't wrap his mind around the concept of following the warrior code. "Well, whatever is right for you, I suppose." Rogue was eyeing Midnight a little hostily for Eagle's liking but he figured she could take care of herself. Even if Rogue was older, the black she-cat seemed brighter, more enthuseastic. (sp?)

"The way Turf put it, it sounded like lots of fun!" answer Midnight. "Even if they would have trouble accepting me first."
